This negative review is strictly based on my experiences at the tire center at BJs in Revere. On October 2017 I purchased 4 tires. The customer service that day was excellent, considering the man helping me was the only person working the entire operation. The gentleman that helped me was clearly overwhelmed with the customers that were waiting for tires, propane refills, and the phone calls constantly coming in. I couldn't help feeling bad for the employee even though I was there waiting for almost an hour. That is way too much time for anyone to have to wait. Remember this was just a purchase not an installation. When the employee finally was able to help me I was told my tires were not in stock and they had to be ordered. He said they would be delivered within 5 days and when they come in I would get a phone call to make an appointment for the installation. I never received my phone call. Ten days later I called the tire center and they informed me that my tires were in and they had arrived 5 days ago. That was 5 days that I had to leave my car parked because of my unsafe tires. Huge inconvenience for my family and me! On April 14, 2018 six months later I come back to the tire center to get a tire that had a nail in it fixed. I figured I could get my tires rotated while i was there. However, that wasn't going to happen because again there is only one person working at the tire center. This is a Saturday morning probably their busiest day of the week and BJs management only has one person working in this department. The gentleman working was doing his best to help everyone. He was polite and respectful. Everytime the phones rang he stopped to answer the calls. When a new customer walked through the door he stopped working on vehicles and attended the new customer. If they were buying propane he filled their tanks and then proceeded to work on the car. Needless to say I came in on a Saturday morning at 9am and I am still waiting here its 1118am. I'm only here to get a tire plugged. Unbelievable! I think it is unfair that BJs management is putting their employees in this position. Their workers in the tire center are clearly stressed and overwhelmed having to fulfill the responsibilities of at least 3 employees. I only hope that nobody's tires come off while they are driving due to all of the distractions that BJs employees are constantly facing due to the lack of help. Management needs to value their customers safety a lot more by hiring more people for the tire center. In addition they need to do a better job of placing their employees in a position to succeed. My experience with the BJs employees at the tire center has always been positive. It's the management at BJs that needs to step up their game so that they can retain their respectful employees. More important than that, is their customers that could always walk away and take their business to the other...
Read moreThis store in Revere has some of the worst employees out of any retail store I have ever shopped. I had an issue in the past with them closing the gas station 20 mins early when I desperately needed gas because the kid wanted to be out on time so he was turning customers away. Then tonight, the store closes at 9pm on Sundays, I had time to get gas and only needed 2 cases of water, walked in the door at 8:52pm and was told they don’t allow anyone in after 8:45. I said I only need 2 cases of water it’s not going to take me 8 mins, he started yelling NOOOOO we are closed. So I proceeded into the store Walked straight to the waters threw them in my carriage and paid express pay which means I don’t even need to go through a register. When I got to the door he started waving for his whole team to come attack me. Then he said yelling and saying we are closed, go home you big baby in front of my 12yr old daughter who was sitting there shaking her head trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Mind you our transaction was done before 9pm and I would have been out of the store but I had about 4 employees standing around acting like they wanted to fight me. Note to self BJ’s, if you close at 9 then that means 9, not 8:45 because you want to be out the door by 9. And if you close at 9 then schedule your employees until 9:15 or 9:30 so this doesn’t happen again to someone else. Remember we pay for a membership, so have your employees learn how to act or get rid of them because what happened tonight was totally unacceptable. Maybe it’s time I cancel my BJ’s membership & reopen my Costco’s, they have a lot nicer stuff...
Read moreJust had the most Horrible experience at BJs in Revere Massachusetts. Pre Ordered 2 roasts! A 10lb boneless prime rib and a 10 rib crown roast! Even called to confirm! I was told if your paper is in the box it will be there! I specifically asked if both would be ready? I was told again if its in the box it will be there. He asked my pick up time I said 2pm he said yes it will be ready! I go today my pick up day and I get the prime rib. I was told he didn't have the crown roast. The other employee pulled my paper and showed him yes there is supposed to be one! He says I have 1! I ask in the interim if I could get a leaner Prime rib the one I was given the meat was too fatty! He Took the same roast and cut the fat cap off! Omg yep ruining the entire 10lb roast! I was like No I wanted a leaner cut even used a 6lb to show him... I had to find some help! I was told 15 minutes for them to trim the crown roast. Something that was pre-ordered! We waited over a half hour still had nothing! Totally ruined our families Christmas dinner! On top we have a huge storm coming and there is no way I can get our Christmas dinner! We have guests and my wife and I are overwhelmed with embarrassment! BJs has made a disaster out of our holidays! Beyond dissatisfied and disappointed! The...
