VIVI's Tapas Bar — Restaurant in Revere

So I arrived at this place and The bartender came over and asked me if I wanted a drink & I got a beer. Then he literally disappeared for 15 or 20 minutes, and I never saw him again! I ordered a Beer which was $6.50, I put a $10 on the counter and he asked if I wanted change. Well, yes, it's a Mich ultra and I'm not paying $10 for it when I pay $6 for the same beer every place else in town. I had to leave the bar & ask someone to pay my tab because there was literally nobody in sight. No clue what was going on because there was probably four or five people actually working there! It was just the strangest feeling. I had already called an Uber to pick me up to take me home because I was being ignored. Anyway, long story short I will not be going back there again and I would probably go there a couple of times a week if someone had paid attention to me! Totally ridiculous. I won't be going back anytime soon. Horrid...

I live next to Vivi’s, and had visited 3 times in the past 2 months, previously a lovely time. Unfortunately, my dining experience on 6/20 left much to be desired.

We got seated at a dirty table, seats covered in dirt. Clearly had not been wiped clean in days. The hostess walked off before we could say anything. We approached the bartender and he had a bad attitude and did not apologize or offer a solution. We asked if we could find another seat.

The rest of the night was a wash. Waited long to order & rarely checked in on. The bartender repeatedly sat down at neighboring tables throughout our meal to chat with guests while taking their orders, but was not coming to our table. Our food was brought out cold and we weren’t given any silverware or share plates.

We wanted to stay for dessert, more drinks etc but felt rushed out the door and put off by the poor service. Super...

I can’t recommend it enough! The food was absolutely fantastic, with each dish crafted to perfection. The oxtail dish, in particular, was spectacular—tender, rich, and bursting with flavor. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting.

The drink selection was just as impressive, with a variety of creative cocktails and an excellent wine list to complement the meal. What made the experience even better was the outgoing and friendly staff, who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Their enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu added to the overall experience.
