I am a long time Starbucks customer and I don't really like leaving negative reviews but John and his staff were almost ignoring every customer if they weren't Latino. My wife placed our order online. I approached the customer order counter and made eye contact with John and 2 of his employees. They all ignored me. I asked if my order was ready and an Associate said no. I waited then asked John who was wearing all Black as opposed to the other associates uniforms. He said Yea I'm the manager are you good? The aggression in his voice threw me off. I didn't think anything of it until a Latino man walked in and was greeted with a warm welcome from John and his staff. Another Latino woman approached the same counter I was at and was greeted with a smile. I then started to notice the behaviors of the staff and how they were ignoring all customers except Latino customers. Starbucks is not a place to express Racism, prejudice or hiring favoritism. Read moreStarbucks needs to retrain staff on manners. Multiple staff are rude. I always get shots of espresso and they constantly hand me a straw for my drink. I thought they aren’t supposed to hand out straws unless you ask for one now since CA changed the law on straws for restaurants. Then when I decline the straw they get upset. Sometimes they don’t even say a word to you they just scan your payment at drive thru and hand you your drink. They really lack manners. Saying things like “hold on” or “what did you want” instead of other Starbucks shops saying “I will be with you shortly” and “ hi what can I get started for you today “ I think the service needs to really be re-evaluated at this location. Other stores within a few miles of this one, do not act rude like this location. This isn’t a one time experience this is every visit and multiple workers. When I ordered the shaken espresso he didn't know what I was talking about. I ask for light ice and I'm givin a half empty cup! The old mexican lady that can barely speak english says this is what you get when you order light ice! Thought I was paying for coffee not a cup full of ice. She was extremely rude and acts like the milk is coming out of her paycheck. I called corporate and gave all the info of this store and their employees.
