We love 2 Potrilllos and we’ve been to the one in Corona. The food is very standardized and you expect and do receive the same flavor at all locations. We came here on Saturday at 9 pm and there was a line to order that took about 20 minutes. My one complaint is that once you get your food you do have to wait another 5-10 minutes to pay. There was only one cashier and I feel like a back up cashier would have been helpful to get the line moving. Another quick note was that because they were so busy, they had to grill carne asada and the ventilation was not that great and it got pretty smoky in there. I know they just opened so hopefully they get the hang out it.
The system of ordering/paying is different than other taquerias. You walk up and you order what you want and then they hand you your food and then you walk over to the cashier where you tell them what you got and pay.
Now for the food…IT’S DELICIOUS and fresh. I LOVE tripa tacos and their tripa was very tasty and well cooked. My husband is picky with asada and he loved his carne asada burrito.
The only thing I am not a complete fan of is the pre-packaged salsa cups. I am a saucy person and I love when taquerias have the salsas...
Read moreThis was our first visit here. There was a long line and waited for 1 hour. We ordered asada tacos, torta, sope, burritos and fish tacos. We did not mind waiting initially, but by the time we got our food it was cold. There system is similar to chipotle where you order and they make your food in front of you which can take a while depending how much you order. They had 4 people taking orders and preparing it while you watch. My dad was excited to try there Al pastor but there trompo machine broke and the meat was raw so they were cooking it on the pan. We only ordered asada and the taste was not so bad but some parts were over or under cooked. The fish in my tacos were the size of my pinky and it was filled with shredded cabbage. The tacos are small. The tortillas are made by hand and are fresh out of the pan but by the time you eat it it’s cold. The drinks were the best part of this place. We had cucumber with lime and Pineapple with Guava. We are not coming back. We paid $80 for 4 people. Customer service was good and they were patient. I think that management should create a better system and add more workers to help assists customers and...
Read moreDos potrillos used to be our go to, and I'm not one to complain but until we received horrible service from the manager Yolanda. We won't be coming back. We made our order online first thing in the morning to be picked up at 9:20, showed up 10-15 mins later and she did not want to admit she gave the order out to the wrong person & kept claiming we ordered through DoorDash when we used their site directly which shows they are using DD as their checkout method and she figured it was automatically meant to be delivered when I had my receipt and specifically said takeout/pickup. Please train your managers to know how to use their online order system because even her cashier knew she was wrong but didn't want to admit it to her manager. I tried to be patient and explain to her as I have worked with fast food before but left with me with no resolution of the problem after almost an hour of back and forth had to dispute my order with the bank. If you order please call and pay at the register, save yourself the hassle!!! Because apparently the customer is never right here. How funny that once I leave the restaurant, they...
