Kid’s Korner is the shining crest of this diamond of a town. When the Yale Curling team walked through the well-cleaned glass doors, we were amazed by the atmosphere of such a kozy Korner. We were far from home, but at this moment, Kid’s Korner was home. We were greeted with enthusiasm and warmth, and despite a lengthy deliberation on what pizzas to get, the staff at Kid’s Korner were as patient as a middle-aged man waiting for retirement. To our great delight, a staff member ended up correctly guessing one of the pizzas we planned to order, showing that Kid’s Korner not only serves you with enthusiasm but knows you with enthusiasm. As we eagerly waited for our pizzas, we couldn’t help but appreciate the beautiful ambiance of the restaurant (there were multiple kool gnomes). Suddenly, we smelt a change in the air. We looked up. There, coming before us, was a handsome man burdened with the weight of two equally handsome pizzas. He generously offered to accommodate our crowded table by considerately placing the two pizzas on the vacant table next to us. And now it was time to dig in. As we brought the spatula closer to the cheesy goodness, we couldn’t help but feel like Kids again. As the taste of pure Wisconsin cheese exploded in our mouths, we looked at one another. “This is good stuff,” one said. “Mmmmm,” said another. “Wow, a deeply delectable dish,” muttered a third in unbridled delight. “This must be the best pie on this side of the Mississippi!” another shouted forth in jubilant glee. As the explosively flavored slices left the table and entered our stomachs, we were reborn. We were witnessing a romance between the wholesome tenderness of white dough and the supple tang of green peppers and onions. We never knew pizza could be like this. One small Korner against the world, but dynamite comes in small packages. Sadly the time had come. Our bellies were full, our souls fulfilled, yet a melancholic fog permeated all Korners of the building. It was klosing time. We packed up our leftovers and headed to the door, but we realized we could not leave such a heavenly place without a picture. Squatting outside the Kid’s Korner sign, we smiled as the camera flashed. Our visit was over. Snowmen melt, but memories last forever. Fun Fact: Kid’s Korner has ten publicly accessible Korners. See attached photographs.

My wife has family in town and she said every time they'd come to visit, they would get Kid's Korner. So, of course, we came in town to visit and knew we had to order some pizza. We got it to-go. I will simply say, it is delicious. It hit the spot. We highly recommend!

Very excited about the restaurant opening. We were honored to go to the preview and it’s great! Excited for the full menu launch but really happy the new owners are going to go slow and do it right!!!

As a long-term resident of Rice Lake, Kid's Korner was always known for it's exceptional service and high quality product. While the quality is still there, the service certainly is not. Out of the past 4 times I have ordered from Kid's Korner, there has been 1 time that the pizzas have been ready when they were set to be picked up. My most recent visit this past Saturday will likely be my last. I placed an order at 5:42pm and the pizzas were set to be picked up at 6:30pm. I arrived to pick up my 2 pizzas and was greeted by the owner. After looking around for my order and telling me I was "right on time", he informed me that my pizzas had been lost and that they would be ready in 15 minutes as they were going to remake them for me. I sat and waited for my pizzas with my family calling to ask where I was. The owner disappeared. The pizzas were ready about 15 minutes later. Another employee called out my name and I went to the counter to get my pizzas. My experience could have been turned around with a coupon or a refund for one of the pizzas that I ordered but other than a "sorry, we can't find your pizza" and the employees stating "we made those", I left feeling that customer service was not an important part of...

Top tier quality in both the ingredients and staff! They may take longer and cost a little bit more than your average chain pizza joints but it is absolutely worth it! They source their sausage from a local butcher shop, use quality Wisconsin Mozzarella cheese that they shred in store and go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your order. Staff is kind and friendly, they even go out of their way to call and communicate if something isn't right or running late. The Taco pizza, Chicken Alfredo pizza and their classic Sausage pizza have ended up in my top tier favorites. Appreciate seeing small family owned business putting in so much love and care into their products. Will be back again!!! Update: Thrilled they have salads back all of them are SO good!!! The taco and pasta salad are...
