Good place for authentic Bangladeshi foods. Everything we tried was really good both in flavors and portions. They asked us for spice level and we asked to make it as they would back home and they clearly did! Everything was really spicy! So I would advise to ask for less spicy if too much heat is a concern. We had the pomfret curry. The fish was fried and then made in curry. The recipe was tasty with the right combination of spices and tomatoes. The fish wasn't smelly and I liked that it wasn't too oily of a dish. It came with white rice and a small portion of daal (lentil soup). The daal was very good and a bit spicy. We also ordered beef curry. The meat was well cooked and the right amount of tenderness. The gravy was thick and is not runny which I liked as I was actually wanted beef rezala but it wasn't on the menu. This was a good replacement and was very tasty. This came with polao rice which was also good. The other dish we ordered was the goat kacchi biryani. While it wasn't the "biye barir kacchi" recipe I was craving, it was still very tasty. I liked that it was authenticly Bangladeshi in its seasoning and preparation. We also ordered nuggets and fries for the kiddo. It was bland and basic for the kids. Food has to be ordered at the counter. There was only one guy working while we were there. He took our order and was very friendly and personable. It's so rare to get decent service at these places so this was a pleasant surprise. However, I don't doubt any reviews that complain of bad service. Your results may vary! I would definitely come back to try some other items, especially since the only other restaurant serving Bangladeshi foods nearby seems to not care about running a business anymore.

Absolutely disgusting behavior from the owner. Was going to make a catering order for the half tray of chicken roast. The catering menu on their website (I've included a screenshot) states that the half tray would include 30 pieces. I called to make the order, and when I asked to make sure that it would be 30 pieces, the owner picked up the phone and stated that the half tray could only fit 20 pieces. I was still willing to only take 20 pieces, but when I told him that the website has the wrong number of pieces listed, the owner began insulting me. We were speaking in Bangla, as we are both Bangladeshi, and the owner began yelling me, "you must not understand Bangla, go get food from somewhere else." There was absolutely no reason for him to treat me or any customer that way. I was still willing to order the amount of food they were offering, and was simply letting him know that the information on his own website was inaccurate, and instead of taking any responsibility of his own, he decided to act hostile and even telling me to do business elsewhere.

Good tasty Indian food, in the middle of Richardson. Clean restaurant, good food. The choice is a little limited though. The music in the restaurant reminded me of old India. For an instance, I felt like I was in Old Delhi. We had Naan, with grilled chicken, prawn curry and kadhai chicken. The grilled chicken was a little hard, but the rest of the food was good. After some 2 years I went to this restaurant few days ago to satisfy my appetite for desi food and it was a great disappointment. I ordered Rohu fish curry that came with steamed rice and daal. It was spicy as hell. Even the daal also turned out to be really spicy, despite the fact that I precisely told them to make it mild while ordering. I had to take medicine to get rid of my heartburn after eating there. It was a horrible experience. I am taking out one star from the rating for my horrible experience. However, the Nepali server was really good. He is an asset to the restaurant.

I want to share my most recent experience with this store and their service: about a week ago i went in to order food for a party so wanted to cater for 40 people..i clearly told Harun that it was 40 people and 7 a head i wanted to do for 4 items he wrote the receipt wrong and put $400 on it and took 100 deposit from me. I was extremely BZ to notice the error right there and then so once i got inside my car i realized it, so i called him again over the phone: he assured me and laughed saying don't worry i will fix it its $9 a person..i said no i am not doing 9 a person, I also said even 9 a head is $360 you put 400 in there, he said i will take care of you at that day when you pick up the food don't worry i got you...I did not want to have any issues the day i pick my food up so i went 2 days prior and asked him to fix the issue. He threw the paper at me several times saying in bangla " i don't want people to cater from me, if you find anywhere else cheaper then go there why are you here? i tell people don't take food from me go elsewhere and take your 100 deposit back" I argued to him saying why are you charging me this amount and last minute creating an issue when your iftar box has more item then what i am ordered and its 5.99 in your menu, you are charging me 9 and an extra 40 dollars...because it was last minute i wasn't thinking straight and said whatever don't have time to deal with this..i left the store and my husband was furious along with me with Harun's behavior and manner the way he spoke to us..my husband said Jemi lets order from elsewhere does not matter how much i don't want to cater from spice and rice...i went back in the store in 10 minutes and said Harun Bhai i want to cancel my order as i did find it elsewhere like you were saying i would like the $100.00 deposit back..That illiterate PIG tell me in bangla again since he does not speak english: "what money now i am not going to refund your money when i told you 10 minutes ago to take your money why didn't you take it then? do whatever you want i am not returning your money you have to take your food from here" i can not write the way exactly he spoke to me but if you have spoken to that "CHARAL Harun" you know his language...I disputed with my credit card company and got the $100 back...100-500 does not matter but no one should be treated this way..His employee changes every 2 months now i realize why...I will never recommend anyone go there or eat there food when they have no respect toward their customers, if it happened to me it can happened to...

This was by far the WORST EXPERIENCE yet. If you place an order at this place, please be sure to do the job of the employees as they pretty much expect you to do the job for them. I placed an order an hour ahead of time with a specific pickup time. The order was half ready because the lady assumed it was for one of everything when in reality it was two of everything. I had to show my receipt (in which we went over TOGETHER) and had to wait additional time for the other half of the order to be ready. She tied my bag, apologized, and ensured me that the whole order was in the bag. After leaving, I realized the whole order was in fact NOT THERE. We called and she blamed me and got really arrogant and rude. She said it was nothing she could do to rectify the situation. We asked to speak to the manager and she said “he was not there but she will pass the message along however it was nothing he will do either.” We showed up the next day and he was rude and was yelling. Then another employee tried to justify him yelling and talking with his hands to us as being “due to the language barrier”. It was not. He did not yell at first until I complained about the lady that assisted us the night before.

Nothing was done and we will never go again. Also, barely any chicken in their butter chicken. And they do not label it so you will not know what is mild, hot, or normal if you place order for...
