Wava Halal Grill — Restaurant in Richardson

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wava Halal Grill on Greenville Ave in Dallas and I must say it was a delightful experience. I would give it a solid 4 stars.

Firstly the ambience of the restaurant is inviting and comfortable. The interior is simple yet tastefully decorated with warm lighting and cozy seating arrangements. It created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at ease right away.

Moving on to the service I was impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile and promptly shown to my table. The waitstaff were knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations when I asked for them. Throughout my meal they were quick to check on me ensuring I had everything I needed without being intrusive.

Now let's talk about the star of the show: the food. Wava Halal Grill truly excels in this aspect. Their menu features a variety of halal dishes and I had the pleasure of trying their lamb gyro. The meat was juicy and tender perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. The gyro came with a generous portion of fries which were crispy and delicious. It was a filling and satisfying meal that left me completely satisfied.

In terms of pricing Wava Halal Grill offers good value for money. The portions are generous and considering the quality of the ingredients and the overall dining experience I found the prices to be reasonable.

If there is one area where Wava Halal Grill could improve it would be the wait times during peak hours. The restaurant can get quite busy resulting in slightly longer wait times for both seating and food. However I believe that this is a testament to their popularity and the food is definitely worth the wait.

Overall I had a great dining experience at Wava Halal Grill. The ambience was welcoming the service was attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a satisfying halal meal. With its flavorful dishes and pleasant atmosphere Wava Halal Grill earns a solid 4-star...

Went tonight and the lady told us to leave a review which was the worst thing she could have done lol. At first the food was taking long but we thought hey when it gets here it will be good. It was the complete opposite, we were getting our orders with half of the things in them were missing and half of us didn’t get our order and they didn’t even know what we were missing. Even on our way out another customer come in to get his food since they have a system that texted you the food is ready which is why he came but still his food wasn’t prepared and he sat down displeased. We order food to-go as well for the kidos at home and once we got home we noticed even those orders werent correctly prepared or with items missing. I can’t really explain to you how bad their service was you just had to be there but it was horrible. Overall I feel bad leaving this review they seem like nice people maybe having a bad day but they told me to leave a review and honesty is important. The food is good pretty tasty, but with service like that I wouldn’t go there again even if the food was free.

Unfortunately a lot of Mediterranean places are overhyped… but not this one. The chicken schwarma wrap was excellent, we really liked the marinade and they wrapped it in foil to make sure it didn’t get too cold for delivery. We like Angel Chicken, Halal Guys, etc, but I think this one was the best we’ve had nearby. They had some sauces too, but honestly I didn’t even need them because the wrap was so good as it came.

They did the same with foil wrap with the pita for the hummus, and they got a nice, slight char on the pita. I always like more, but some people don’t like char, I think they did a good job for ours of hitting a sweet spot that everyone will like it.

Roasted red pepper hummus was pretty good. It won’t blow you away if you’ve had amazing hummus, but it’s better than most of these places, so I was pretty happy with it.

Fantastic that this place is open so late, I doubt anything comparable, at least for Mediterranean food, is open nearby this...
