I love donuts and I try as many places as possible. This place seems to be hit or miss. I got a chocolate, glazed, maple, and blueberry.
On the way to work, my car smelled of dough instead of doughnuts.
The maple was great. The dough was flavorful. the glaze was spot on. not too sweet. The overall feel was greasy.
The chocolate was bad. The dough tasted OFF. It honestly reminded me of the way that a nail salon smells. chemicals.
The dough seems to be golden brown like it was cooked too much or like it was cooked in old oil. They definitely weren't cooked too much so I'm guessing that they used old oil or they burned the oil. the taste it imparted to the donut was not pleasant.
The others were good but the same issue with the dough and the greasy feel.
