This Vietnamese eatery offers a comprehensive menu, covering all the cuisine's staples. In addition to familiar dishes, they also serve more traditional offerings like "pig feet" and "blood cake," which may appeal to adventurous eaters while potentially being off-putting to others.
We appreciated that the dishes were served with the appropriate accompaniments, such as mung bean sprouts, holy (Thai) basil, and jalapenos. This attention to detail enhanced the overall dining experience. Adding to the ambiance, two TVs show still photos of life in Vietnam, offering a glimpse into the country's culture, while another TV displays cooking demonstrations.
One area for improvement would be the overall atmosphere. While the TVs showing Vietnamese life and cooking are a nice touch, we found the rock music to be a bit loud and distracting, making conversation difficult. Replacing it with something more conducive to conversation would enhance the dining experience.
We also felt that some of the restaurant's policies could be more welcoming. The bold sign stating "no public restrooms" is not particularly inviting. Additionally, charging extra for substituting steamed rice for rice noodles (or vice versa!) seems unnecessary and could easily be eliminated to improve customer satisfaction.
On the positive side, the service was friendly and knowledgeable. We especially appreciated the attentiveness of the aunt with the frequently changing hair color, who was particularly accommodating and willing to help us with our attempts at speaking Vietnamese. Her helpfulness added a personal touch to our visit.
Overall, this restaurant has a lot to offer. The authentic cuisine, the glimpses into Vietnamese life on the TVs, and the attentive service are definite strengths. With a few adjustments to the atmosphere and policies, it could become an even more enjoyable dining destination.

Read moreOk so I am super excited to post this review. So lets get into in. I ordered their large pho bowl with steak, and it truly didn't disappoint. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the broth was very tasteful and didn't overpower the contents within it. This was in fact some of if not the best pho iv had by far. Also decided to order 10 of the wings. The skin was very crispy and the meat was juicy not dry. The sauce they used has just enough spice to it to remind you but not overwhelm your pallet, the sauce used for the wings was tangy, yet had a bit of sweetness. I would recommend ordering some to anybody I know. They eggrolls were very crisp and flakey and didn't have to be dipped in a sauce to eat like many other places. They proceeded to bring out tea and it didn't disappoint either. It had a very light aromatic flavor/smell like it should. Also tried the chicken curry and for myself not being a fan of curry to begin with this dish was truly phenomenal and you will have to try to really be able to understand. They also have fresh squeezed lemonade. Most places either make lemonade way too sweet to the point where you can feel the sugar in your teeth or next to no sweetener. But pho truong has it down to a perfect science. I can't remember her name but the lady that served us really made us feel like the restaurant was our second home. The food truly is too notch and the atmosphere is superb. I would not call this place a hole in the wall pho place but truly a diamond in the rough. 10/10 recommend to anybody that passes by and I for sure will be going back again. Thank you for the awesome experience at...
Read moreHad been seeking a place that makes the pork sandwich. Since, I moved from the area of my favorite place. Decided to give this place a chance. Walked in to see a lady with Purple hair. She turned and looked at me and just kept walking away. She didn’t even acknowledge me with a welcoming Hello, nothing. I walk up to place my order. She reminded me “twice” that the sandwiches are $10 each. I was like, I want two. Felt like she thought I couldn’t afford to buy two of them. I thought that was so rude. To assume a new person maybe customer would have to be made sure of the price of their lunch. There was another person already waiting impatiently for her lunch as well, which was just a soup, she mentioned. She stated that was so rude of her to remind me the price of my sandwich. Then the lady decided to conduct her own personal business on the phone with Amazon. Talking so loudly on the phone. So uncomfortable I felt and so unprofessional to hear the whole unhappy conversation on speaker. While we were waiting for our placed orders. Finally, the gentleman came out from kitchen with both our orders. Left the restaurant not even waiting to eat this food. Was so much bad energy put into it. And to put that into my body. No!! I decided just to throw them away when I got home. Will never return! Your business could of had a loyal customer. But so not worth returning....
