Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Richland Township

Worst service and communication ever! my husband and I went to meet friends there for dinner on a Monday at 7pm. We sat down the server took our order and we waited... and waited ...AND WAITED for an hour! At no time did our server check back in with us nor did a manager stop by and ask how we are doing we had to go look for our server whom we can only assume was hiding in the kitchen with all the rest of the employees. We had two children and at no time were they offered anything. We started over hearing from other tables that there was a big problem in the kitchen and they kept saying the food will be out any minute. Other servers were offering fries so we grabbed one of them and asked for some. They brought us back the mealiest basket you could imagine and gave it to the kids this was after 30 minutes (they devoured it) and then had to track down someone else to get more. My husband went up to the kitchen area to get someone's anyone's attention and saw the window full of entrees waiting to be delivered. this is now almost 1 hour after placing our order. the kids are tired and upset none of the adults had anything besides our 1st drink. Our food finally arrives a little after 8pm quickly followed by a server, not ours, offering fry baskets. TOO LATE!!! We eat and still hope that a manager would show their face, to no avail. We even looked for one on the way out not one employee showed their face! We would have been ok had someone communicated with us even explained to us what happened, but never did anyone offer any thing even an apology, nothing off our bill no free dessert...NOTHING! The only reason I give it one star is the food still tasted good when we eventually got it. I feel bad for servers because the issue could have been a kitchen problem. 2/Good Afternoon Once again I give the opportunity to the Red Robin Restaurant that is at 309 Quakertown since it is 2 minutes from my house and once again the visit is very disappointing the last time I visited it was in May of last year and it was in bad taste the visit I gave the complaint the manager contacted me I stayed to follow up and I never received anything regarding the situation I love Red Robin it is this one in particular that I am always disappointed today I leave the church I go with my family and my daughter spilled the soda, we had to pick it up ourselves my husband went to look for the employee to indicate what happened the employee picked up the ice from the floor with a cloth with the same clean cloth the table put the sign and left us there on the table Sitting there were other customers who passed by and ran into the spilled liquid and nobody cleaned anything, nobody moved us from the table Wow! the waitress came with the food and in the same way she ignored the mess sticky table my daughter and I wet and all the mess under our table, my husband told the waitress to pack the food for us to take away the empty restaurant maybe I would understand in a Rush but I don't understand what happens Sunday 3:01 PM.

I think their burgers are overrated and overpriced. The fries are "bottomless" but who can eat that many anyway? I don't think they're that great of fries to begin with, so I surely don't want second servings. I've gone to 3 different locations now, but it's the same at each place: super loud, crappy service, just OK food with portions on the small side. There's plenty of other places I'd rather go for a better meal at this price (or less). I don't mind spending money to go out to eat as long as the food, service and atmosphere are good. I'm not a tightwad & I always tip above 20% if the server is decent. But I just can't enjoy myself here no matter what time or day I go. I always seem to get servers who are pissed at the world & they don't come back to give drink refills or check on us, the food takes too long & then when you get it you realize it's nothing great. 👎I usually leave this place with a headache, feeling ripped off, irritated, etc. The last time I was still hungry, so I went thru a drive-thru for a sandwich on the way home...that dollar sandwich was just as good as my tiny overpriced chicken wrap. I can't believe how many people love this restaurant. I don't eat burgers, so maybe if I did I'd like it here better. But the burgers don't look that great to me. I've worked in many restaurants, so I know a good looking burger. I've seen way worse, but I don't think they're great.
