This was the subway in Quakertownn inside Wal-Mart super center... I hardly ever go to subway so the clerk sandwich maker quickly got impatient with me and seemed offended at my dumb questions. I told her í hardly ever eat at subway so don't know the options. She began to give me attitude when she asked What type of bread í wanted and í asked what type of bread they had and if the meatball sandwich would be warm When she asked me if í wanted anything else she mentioned chips soda cookie.... I said, " if its included in the price, sure í won't turn down anything free" ... She responded saying... "Nothing in this world is free, honey". I said, " then no Thanks," and I gave her my gift card. She seemed so uptight and unfriendly that í wanted to help relax her mood by making light conversation so í was going to say the gift card was free for me but since that was obvious i said food stamps are free ... At which time she slapped the receipt in my hand and said that she was extremely offended at my statement on the foodstamps bc SHE was on food stamps and they were not free and that a part of her pay check goes out to pay for them. I tried to sympathize with her and explained that í didn't know she had to PAY for foodstamps. I asked if they took out more taxes to pay for them bc í wanted to learn bit sur got miré defensive and she yelled about a big portion of her paycheck pays for insurance. I tried to sympathize and let her know í understand financial hardships bc my husb and i pay over $500 a month out of pocket for crappy health insurance but it was no use she just got angrier and waved me off in an agitated state yelling... GET OUT of my store . I questioned what is the problem then she yelled I SAID GET OUT OF MY STORE AND NEVER COME BACK. Then i asked to talk to the manager about the customer service and she said she WAS the manager. So í asked to talk to the boss over her and she giggled and said that she was the owner and no one is over her! Then yelled and threatened... GET OUT OF MY STORE RIGHT NOW and never step foot inside of here again or I'll call the police... On the way out she took my picture with her cellphone and did indeed call the police. I stood outside in disbelief as í have never in my over 60 years been treated so harshly (and í work with dementia patients and alot of psychotic behaviors )... Lol... This is a friendly warming to all of you potential customers... If you have to eat here... please be careful with this explosive hostile personality bc she gets offended very easily. Even though she says she is the manager she needs some serious reeducation in customer service. Even though i did not take her picture, her name is Mindy according to the receipt and she was working in the early morning up til 930 am with medium height. Late 30s. Medium to heavy build large busted Brunett pony tail . buyer beware!!! Walk on egg shells if you must eat here. My stomach was so sickened by her brutal rudeness that í could not eat...
Read moreI would give zero stars for this LAST transaction with this chain. Ordered 3 foot long sandwiches online. So this more or less removes any and all doubt as to what is wanted on each sandwich. Pretty much a normal wait time for the delivery (mind you, delivery is an additional charge). Order arrived, opened the sandwiches and one was absolutely wrong. The sandwich ordered was the new honey mustard chicken. Was showed up was honey mustard roast beef. Called the store, believe me, this is the point it took a complete left turn. Could not understand the female. Broken english is not hard to keep up with. She didn't even have that going for her. Making the entire call extremely difficult. Wife spoke with her, and all the call taker kept saying was to "come in to the store". The delivery process was a charged fee, there is no way a request can be made to come in to any store due to their inability to fulfill an order properly. After 6 minutes of this circus side show, I took the phone. I initially explained the sandwich was incorrect and that I wanted the correct sandwich to complete and fulfill the order that was now paid for. She returned with "ok, I'm sorry, come in to the store". I explained we paid for delivery as to not have to pick it up. And in as clear a way as possible, I asked "are you delivering the correct sandwich, yes or no". And her reply was "YES". Sandwich never arrived, order is incorrect and unfulfilled. Now I want a refund for what was not fulfilled, and I will simply take my business to Roma and Jersey Mike's from now on. Because those two sandwich shops take their customers seriously. When we asked the owner why it doesn't show customize tip, the owner said the POS amount was not right, we'll only be charged at the original sandwich price without tip. However 3 days later, when we checked our credit card statement, it showed the amount with 15% tip, exactly same as POS machine.
