We had a bad experience about a year ago and decided not to go here anymore. My husband being the loving man he is decided we should give them another chance. So, last night our family and our neighbor ordered a bunch of food for delivery. First things first while I was placing the order I heard a gentlemen come back in after picking his food up and he was complaining that they had forgotten several items. I placed my order which the girl repeated and told me it would be 45 minutes for delivery which was fine. The food took and hour and 10 minutes to get here. Then we realized they had forgotten to give us ANY white rice and also messed up the sizes of a few items. When we called to tell them this they said “do you want to come pick up the rice” are you kidding me??? That is why we ordered delivery in the first place!!! We had to call back because when my husband called the girl on the other line told him the shrimp in lobster sauce only came in one size which is incorrect it comes in small and large which they were suppose to bring us a large and didn’t! When we called back this lady actually made them delivery our rice and the large shrimp in lobster sauce this took 2 HOURS!!!! Then when they got here they actually made us pay for the other shrimp and lobster sauce even though it was ordered correctly and repeated by the employee this was after they lied and said it only comes in one size and asked us to come get our own rice which they forgot!!! This is just bad business!! When you screw up normally the business takes care of the customer to make sure they are happy but they DID NOT!!! WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING HERE EVER AGAIN!!!! BAD...
Read moreWhat a shame. My wife and I order food from here at least once a week for the last 4 years. Over the he past few months, the quality of food and service has declined significantly. I have spent a lot of time driving back having orders fixed and modified. This was our "go to" spot until last night. We orderd our usual friday night takeout, got home and started eating. I bit into something hard that was in my fried rice. I pulled it out and found it was a piece of metal. It looked like a piece of screen. I was absolutly livid so my wife calmly called and asked for the owner. My wife was very reserved, let her know what happened, and kindly asked for our next meal to be on the house. The owner flat out said no. I was so mad I wanted to drive in and preach to all the patrons in the restaurant what happened; but I didnt. The next afternoon, my wife drove there with the piece of metal and asked to talk to the owner. The owner pretty much said "what do you want me to do about this?" My wife said she wanted our next order to be free and the owner sternly said no again. One of the managers examined the piece of screen and when my wife asked for it back, he kept asking why and seemed worried and resilient. I can't believe the horrible customer service. We would have forgotten about this incident if they just acted like they cared. Especially for customers who have spent thousands of dollars there over the years. Read moreQuality has really gone downhill since the new owners took over. Tonight we ordered, in part, BBQ spare ribs - which smelled like wet dog. No clue what they tasted like because I couldn’t bring myself to try after smelling them. We also ordered pork fried rice which had approximately 5 small pieces of pork in an entire pint - the rice was mushy and didn’t quite smell right either. Beef fried rice was a similar situation. Sweet and sour chicken was rubbery and just inedible.
Won’t be ordering from here again, which is unfortunate because before new ownership it was the best Chinese we had found in the area :(
*In response to the ownership comment below (which as of 12/12 they have now deleted - shady as heck - but originally tried to claim they are not under new ownership) , their voicemail message as of 12/9 literally states that they’re under new ownership. I know this because I called 3x tonight and received their voicemail, before someone finally picked up on the 4th try. We had an issue the last time we ordered also (several weeks ago - we thought it was a one-off and decided to give them another chance tonight), and similar to many other reviews when we called to try and correct the issue, we were told we were wrong…their food was great and the order was prepared as we asked for it, even though it wasn’t.
