I ordered riblets and fries, and because I have food allergies, they graciously substituted green beans with bacon instead of coleslaw. Everything was excellent! I even ate the fries without catsup because they were so hot, crispy and flavorful! They didn't need doctoring up! The green beans seemed to be the fresh variety...left whole and with a bit of chew left in them...not a mushy bean among them! They were seasoned very nicely and had plenty of bacon in them. The riblets we're tender and tasty. The staff were all courteous and spot on. The only problem I had was that the music was too loud. We had 4 people at our table, but it was quite difficult to carry on a conversation, which was the point of going out with them. When I requested a lower volume, I was told very nicely that they don't adjust the volume. They politely offered to move us to a different table, which I declined because we were settled in. Music volume is a make or break deal for me.. I don't return to restaurants that have a volume so loud that makes it difficult to be enjoy the company I'm with. It's funny how I've heard quite a few people say they won't return to restaurants because they're too loud; I've NEVER heard anyone say they won't return because the restaurant music is too quiet. Maybe corporate needs to listen more attentively. The food and staff courtesy rates a 10. The decor is a 10. I wish I could give high marks for enjoyment of meal as far as social ease is concerned. For that one reason alone, I don't plan to return; we go out in small groups so we can visit. Why go to a place where we have to struggle to hear...
Read moreI went to dinner with my son, daughter-in-law and daughter. It was not a good experience! I’ll spare you details of the problems they encountered and tell you mine. I ordered a Rib Stead dinner, medium rare and side salad. When my dinner finally arrived I cut into a well done steak. I told the server and she took it back and left the potatoes and broccoli with me. After I finished it, and my family was completely done eating, my steak is brought out. I ask her nicely for a box to go. She took the steak back, boxed it and returned it with our bills. We told her we wanted dessert. We ordered what used to be the blonde brownie. It’s now like a banana cake with ice cream and apples topped with ice cream , nuts and a sauce. Not a Blondie ! Both my daughter in law and I left them. We asked the server if it was the blondie and she said it was the new version. Bottom line I’m now sitting with a steak to go and melting desserts. Again she brings the bills. I was comped on nothing. Not even the lemonade. Total 39.65. . Don’t get me wrong. I understand stuff that happens in the kitchen isn’t the servers fault. But, she did know all the issues and I still wasn’t even offered a comp on anything. So I won’t...
Read moreNothing was quite right. My first entree was very salty, they let me send it back, but my replacement did not come with silverware. I tried to get the attention of the server/bartender (we sat at a high table for 2 in the bar), but nobody came over for some time. When someone finally came back, i had been so long I asked for a box to go. I was brought a very small box for an entree that had not been touched. They apparently had run out of size I needed for an oriental chicken salad, because they ended up bringing a huge tray when i asked for something bigger. Nobody bothered to clear any of the empty plates, including appetizers that my friend and I used, and refills of iced tea were not offered. I ended up eating my salad later at home. Then when I tried to pay my bill on the tablet, the food I sent back with only 2 small bites taken from it was still on the bill, along with the replacement food. When I pointed this out, it just seemed like I was a huge annoyance to the server. I was told that I just need to "split it off". I must have just looked kind of confused, because she sighed and said she would fix it. It was definitely the worst experience I've...
