Hospitality 10/10:

Greeted from the moment we stepped into Salud Bar n grill and the hospitality was amazing.

Immediately we saw the open patio out back and headed there. What a vibe!!!!

Drinks:

We got our menus, drink order was taken and some awesome recommendations for drinks. We ordered the Just peachy, the smoke show I believe with Pendelton. After came two very delicious shots. A mango with tajin and a peach tajin shot. Smoothest but none the less very delicious and dangerous shots that made you wanna ask for another. Very pleasant. Mood setters.

Food: 10/10

We ordered the Steak molcajete which came with grilled panela cheese, steak, spicy sausage and cactus 🌵 nopales. Sizzling salsa n pico. The flavor in this steak was amazing. Such a delightful selection. To share with my bae.

My guerita ordered the chicken tacos. Construction: slaw/pico, flavorful grilled chicken and a perfect combo drizzled sauce with a garden fresh crispy jalapeño slice to make the taste buds dance a bit. Huge tacos. The plate comes with three. Very filling.

Sides were rice and beans. Best beans I’ve had an any restaurant and the rice was cooked to perfection. With not your usual red rice. This rice had peppers and corn it was sooooo good.

Overall… we have became fans and will be coming back again and again

We were there yesterday because we had been wanting to try the place out for a while. I was very disappointed to say the least. It was my first and last time there. The waitress who attended us was very friendly. The drink I ordered was subpar. I didn’t taste the alcohol in there. Usually, by the end of a Margarita, I feel a good buzz. Not with this drink. The menu didn’t have food much options like you would see in a Mexican restaurant. They don’t serve chips and salsa while you’re waiting, like they typically do at a Mexican restaurant. We decided to order the nachos appetizer. It wasn’t very busy at the time we went. There weren’t much people in there. We waited almost an hour for our nachos, and never got them. We ended up paying for our tab, including the nachos, and left. Didn’t end up getting the nachos because they took too long. How long could it possibly take to make nachos? It’s just chips with cheese, added toppings, and meat! We ended up going to Margaritas Mexican Restaurant close by, and were served immediately despite them being busy there. The staff took our order right away at Margaritas and brought our food out within 10 minutes. I don’t recommend this place. Will never go back...

The service was awesome considering we were a big group. We tried to order the fried calamari and a steak, unfortunately they weren't serving calamari as I was told it was unsafe to eat at the moment...? And for the steak apparently they were out of steaks...at 2pm. Everyone else in our group did order food, ordered fries which were amazing, the boneless wings(good but pretty much the same as ordering them from any place) the kids cheeseburger meal, also good, finally the shrimp alfredo...we were super disappointed in the Alfredo, the sauce had no flavor, the only way to get any flavor was to make sure you had a shrimp with every bite. I ordered a manzanita drink which was delicious would definitely go back for another just without ice, tried the whiskey and coke and was super let down I honestly think they gave me half a shot as i can normally taste the whiskey when I order these and definitely tasted a watered down coke more than the alcohol. And finally we ordered a space dust ipa, idk if they had just switched them out but the only thing cold was the glass. The ipa was warm and definitely not the best tasting. I truly wish I could give a better rating but the food was the main reason...
