Update: things have changed and seem backnto normal. Usually coming at lunch time burgers cooked right and I am hapoy the mayo pump is back! Changed to 4 stars.
I love fuddruckers and was so glad they came back after closing in Berwick. I understand in the midst of this pandemic that its tough to keep things going and be safe...I have been in 3 times since things reopened and each time had issues. For starters, every burger is cooked well done, mine, my kids, my friends...well done. The girl at the register is sweet as can be but doesn't listen and takes forever. I ordered a custom burger with "cheddar, bacon and onion rings" cooked medium and said, "please make sure its medium, the last few times it was well done and very dry". Then I said, "make that a combo please". I got a burger with cheddar and bacon and onion rings as my side. I went back and explained this to her and she charged me for a side of fries.
On one of my visits i met what appeared to be the manager. He left shortly after I arrived and if he is reading this I want to tell him that as soon as he walked out, the employees stood around the register laughing and being loud, the changed the music to what they liked and had it very loud. Only one girl was working in the back. Last night when I went, the music coming from the kitchen made it hard to even talk thru my meal. The cook they have can't cook a burger unless its dry and over cooked that is my biggest issue and will prevent me from coming back. But that coupled with everything else is what made me post...
Read moreI am indescribably glad that this chain still has some restaurants in existence, and this location drove it home! My wife and I had a smokehouse burger and a bourbon burger, with fries and onion rings, and let me lay it out for you:
Things you should expect from a Fuddrucker's: they cook the burgers when you order them, and not a moment sooner. If you don't have a few minutes to wait on hot, fresh and delicious food, go ahead and pass, but you'll regret not having that time! They also hand bread their onion rings, which tasted absolutely amazing; I was hard-pressed to decide on whether I liked my potato wedges or the onion rings better.
The staff here wasn't over the top friendly, but I did not feel like I was being a burden to them by patroning the restaurant, which is really the important bag here. The cashier was patient and friendly, and the cook handing my order out made sure I was okay with what I was being handed.
The restaurant seems relatively new, so it's hard to rate its cleanliness based off of that, but everything looked very organized and free of clutter, so there are 0 complaints there!
All in all, I wish I lived closer to this restaurant so I could go here more often, but unfortunately it was a long way from home, so I'll have to put a pin in it for the next time I'm back in the Georgia area! That said, I definitely will be back as long as they are...

I live in Charleston, every year Conde Travel Magazine rates Charleston the best city in America. How can it be #1 if they dont have a Fuddruckers?
I went Thursday night on the way home from business travel. When I pulled up it started to downpour... I could have waited in my car for it to stop raining but was anxious to get Fuddruckers. By the time I got to the restaurant I was soaked. I ordered my food and waited. The A/C was blowing on me and I started to shiver uncontrollably. I thought to myself, its ok, I will warm up by dipping my fries in the hot cheese sauce.
I get my food and go get fixings (pickle slices were thick, that is the best!) ... Then make my way to cheese sauce thing... to my dismay, the cheese sauce came out runny and a weird color. I tasted it and it was not good. Not sure what was going on with it, but I was disappointed in that development.
Burger was great as always and I had no other complaints.
I do want to mention the kid working in the kitchen, he mentioned to someone it was his first night. He was great, he greeted customers and went out of his way to help them. Fuddruckers, make sure you are paying your valuable employees $15/hr.
We are going to Disney in a couple weeks, I have already alerted the family that Fuddruckers will be a stop for a meal. Hopefully they figure out the cheese sauce...
