They refuse to put seasoned salt on the fries. Customer service is all time low, I have been to this zaxby's multiple times only to learn that even if I ask for them to put seasoned salt on my fries, like they do at any Zaxby's restaurant, they won't. If I ask them to give me seasoning salt on the side, so I can do it myself, the staff either ignores me or looks at me with bewilderment, like I'm speaking another language.It's a simple request but the only way you can get seasoning on your fries is to get your meal, then bring it back to the register/drive-thru, and only hope that when they take your food back to sprinkle some orange salt on your spuds they don't spit or cough on your meal. If the lack of seasoning is something this chain has adopted then the staff could inform me instead of haphazardly throwing a sandwich together and pretending like they give a crap. The only reason this fast-food dispensary is even open is due to the grocery store it shares a parking area with. If a Chic-fil-A opened in the same town, this Zaxby's would most likely have to pack up and try to parasite off another large shopping market like Walmart or a K-Mart hoping they could traffic it's customers into their establishment. Saying that the salads are mediocre is an understatement, usually made without enough care to chop the chicken so all you get is a solid lukewarm piece of processed poultry on some lettuce. And honestly I don't care how much they try to advertise fried pickles I'm not buying them and the next time you order a brownie from this zaxby's check the date and let your own disappointment...
Read moreI ordered delivery through the Zaxby’s app and I will never be doing that again. I first received an email saying it was confirmed, then received a second email saying it wasn’t confirmed and that I needed to call the Zaxby’s location to make sure they received the ordered. When I called the first time an employee put me on hold for the manager and then the call dropped after being on hold for 5 minutes. So, I called again and said that the call dropped while being on hold. They put me on hold again for another 2 minutes and then the manger finally picked up the phone. Before I could explain my situation or even say one word, she proceeded to chew me about how it’s door dash’s fault and not hers and I need to call door dash to resolve it. I calmly explained that while they use door dash for delivery, I ordered through the Zaxby’s app not door dash. She told me, again, in a very rude tone that I needed to call door dash and she could do nothing for me. I proceeded to tell her how rude she was, hung up, and called door dash to see if they could cancel and refund my order. Thankfully, the Zaxby’s door dash customer service agent was wonderful and polite, issued me a refund, and apologized for the manager of this location. This visit, like many other recent visits, has been about the same. They take my money, make me pull to the other side, and wait. Now, I know that Zaxby's takes a little longer than other restaurants as they cook the food to order and I'm fine with that, but don't forget to give me items and walk away without waiting. Then I'm forced to get out of my car and come in or drive thru AGAIN (what's the point of the drive thru again?). You're representatives used to go above and beyond, but those people likely left due to poor management. This trip you didn't give me any dressing for my Zalad even after asking multiple times and reading back the order. You also forgot my drink. Seriously?!
