Check recent reviews, as this place is very new: The minute I walk in, service is slow but I IMMEDIATELY and HAPPILY see why! A couple is methodically filling each beautiful dumpling to perfection and the place smells heavenly. I've had dumplings and noodles all over China, Japan, California and New York and these have quickly become my favorite. Doesn't hurt that I'm in walking distance. Their Chengdu handmade noodles are spicy flavorful heavenly with the perfect balance of fresh, braised and pickled toppings and try for sure the classic go to, Xiao Long Bao...the garlicky sauce and flavor packed dumplings are heavenly. I can't wait to come back again and again. Their unique list of dumplings are calling my name.

Update: folks walking by kept asking for suggestions, 2 tried what I got and were raving too. In an Asian mall with lots of options, this place will surely stand out. I'm happy to grab frozen dumplings from 99 ranch and steam them myself, but these were so flavorful and perfect that I know I'll come back, zero hesitation. Lamb & Squash...

TL;DR: 0 service! Don't bother

We walked in on this small store, wanting to try the dumplings. There were only 3 tables, but 2 were occupied (1 with a man and another with dirty dishes). We were waiting to be seated like we usually do at any restaurants, but that never happened. So we ended up seating ourselves after 5 minutes of thinking, and my husband decided to walk up to the cashier. The lady, who had already been busy with the POS, didn't even bother greet/talk/make any eye contacts at all. So my husband ended up telling us to leave, and eat at the HK style restaurant...

This is my most favorite restaurant. Not only delicious, but also healthy! No deep frying, no greesy dishes, most dishes are steamed, stewed or boiling. My favorite buns are: Shepherd Purse with Pork buns Special Osmanthus fragrance Red Bean Bun My favorite wonton: Korean cabbage pork wonton soup My favourite specialties: Preserved Egg Shrimp Sausage Marinated Beef Shank House Soecial Smoked Chicken Leg

New dumpling store! As others have noted seating is limited and spills out into the mall area outside the store. I really wanted to like this place but the items we got were generally not marinated adequately. As this is a new store, it’s possible they’re still figuring things out. On the plus side, when we had an issue with a dish, they checked it out, apologized for the issues, and brought us out a replacement. The service people were great.

I really wanted to like this place but the items we got were generally not marinated adequately. As this is a new store, it’s possible they’re still figuring things out. On the plus side, when we had an issue with a dish, they checked it out, apologized for the issues, and brought us out a replacement. The service people were great.
