Le Dessert Lab is one of kind. Quick stop to grab a boba or to-go a gift (the Rainbow pastry!) If you have time, dine-in in the cozy store full of rainbows, flowers, angels - so dreamy - that we sometimes come here just to remind ourselves to dream.
I love to bring little one (dress her up!) after school and have a mini tea with her in the pink corner by the flower table. She loved to play Angel with the giant wings on the wall, or look into the mirror with giant bow like Alice in Wonderland. Great reminder to kids: they are born magical.
The snowy Mochi is their specialty (they sold out today, I don’t have photos), but let me describe it: paper-thin Mochi skin hugging a blob of fluffy whipped cream - should I say, like eating a cloud? ☺️ I would recommend.
Today we tried the Strawberry Mini Cake and to-go the Rainbow pastry as a gift. Mini Cake is a good size for mini human😉 Classic sponge cake with classic whipped cream, and whipped cream’s best friend Strawberries 🍓 can’t complain.
I always order the Osmanthus Milk Tea with Osmanthus Jelly. The scent of the flowers really comes through, makes my day for I am a flower person. And I am able to lower the sugar level to 0, which is essential.
No wifi. To some people it might be a bad thing, but it could also be a blessing to unplug a little.

Read moreWanted to try out this new place that has taken over another boba shop here, which I forget it's name. Anyways. It looks like they expanded the place and took over the adjacent shop next door making it much bigger, roomier, and nicer. They decorated it really nicely with modern and cute decorations. The ordering menu can be seen posted outside without entering and if you do enter they also have the menu on monitors on the wall. The ordering system is not very personable as you go up to a tablet computer and order from several tabs and screens. The prices is simple enough and payment is simple too by just tapping your credit card to a reader in front of the tablet. If you're playing by can you have to grab it get the attention of one of the workers to help you. Just be warned that they ask for tips automatically... The selection of drinks is varied but they have your classic milk teas and fruit teas and milk shakes and slushes but they also have more obscure blended drinks that have a salted cream cheese topping. I didn't feel like trying that and just went with a Creme Brulee milk tea with boba. The boba was extra charge if . 50 and the drink was $6.50. They also had other offerings like little cakes and pastries. They looked really good but I want too hungry....
Read moreIt only takes one B to take down the bunch. This was my go to for boba drinks and every time I go, I ordered at least 3 drinks for my family. The ladies who work there are always pleasant and sweet. Today at around 5pm however, B with the ponytail and dark top was taking my order. She obviously was not having a good day. I was taken back with her arrogance and unfriendly attitude. I decided right then that I will no longer give them my business. What a shame because if you got Happy Lemon as your competitor, I would think that you would try to retain customers by being just professional. I’m not asking for you to make too much effort, especially the B today. Just decent would have sufficed one of the customer service requirements. Good luck staying in business with that kind...
