As an Independent contractor, I pick up and deliver many things, from a lot of different places. mostly food from some very nice establishments. I was asked to pick up an order from America's Best Wings on Forest Hill Ave in Richmond, VA As I was the only customer there. This is highly unlikely at any time, anywhere... There were two males, just standing there, like they had nothing else to do. I asked for the meal and if it was ready. They said yes , in a minute. Turned out the order was ready but not bagged up yet. Mind you I am still the only person there besides them. After he bagged it up for me, he handed me a large empty cup and said that I needed to make the drink for the order. I was not going to do anything with the cup, he doesn't pay me a dime to do anything for him. I told him that and he got very angry and upset with me, he started raising his voice and told me to cancel the order and leave. I was in shock about the whole situation and especially with the anger he was displaying towards me. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I'm not a food service worker anywhere and I don't have a food servers certificate. It's the idea of a few restaurants, that we should make their drinks for our own deliveries. Well, I'm not a fast food employee and not about to be one. We drivers do not get to put on gloves , nor wash our hands as much as we would like to. " Please", let your managers and owners know how unsanitary this process is, and unfair that they are being paid to prepare and bag your orders, not your delivery driver. We have to wait for the orders, and pay for our own gas and maintenance on our vehicles. Plus the insurance, etc. Where are these people telling us to cancel our orders because they don't want to do their jobs. I never see them doing anything for me, when I need help. Quit being so lazy and late, with our pick ups. Customers have paid for their orders in advance to get it hot and within a certain amount of time. Your procrastinating makes us lose valuable time and money. We are doing our job, now do yours. Thanks for your attitude and disrespectful ways. America's Best Wings is not the only one, Wings Stop is worse than this. I hope the Managers and the Owners are reading this and do the right thing. Read moreVery disappointed, as I have eaten at a different location and received great customer service and delicious food. I went into this location yesterday. The man that took my order was inconsiderate, as I asked him what was taking so long. I am normally not in a hurry, but I was delivering someone. food myself and wanted to be on time. When he gave me my order it had fries in the container, I said to him I ordered onion rings, he said pay me another dollar I didn't ring you up. I stated to him nevermind because I had to go and I couldn't wait any longer. I delivered my food and then proceeded to eat my food. It was cat fish and I ordered tilapia. I went back to the restaurant and told him I didn't want this and I also ordered onion rings, which he repeated back to me when I ordered. He argued with me that it was tilapia and not catfish, and he even bought out a piece of raw tilapia and let me look at it. He again argued with me and in front of my face called me crazy. He charged me another dollar and he took my food back in the back and replaced the fries with burnt onion rings and gave me back my same sandwich that I had eaten off and was cold. Read moreProceed with caution. This is usually one of my go to places but lately they have been WILDIN. I will speak on today’s incident. I asked for a salad with minimal toppings (meat, cheese, cucumbers) the man took my order over the phone and read it back to me correctly told me it was a 10min wait. I get to the establishment to get my food it was not ready i waited 30 mins for my order (not an issue, i have patience). I get my salad and it is filled with everything im allergic to (which is why i asked for the salad in a specific way). This however, was not my issue. I let the CASHIER know my salad was wrong he says he will have chef remake it. CASHIER takes the salad back and starts taking the items out with his BARE HANDS after taking cash from a customer before going to the back with my salad. I asked for a refund and the cashier assured me the chef was “remaking” my salad. I let him know that i watched him dig in my salad and his face turned white because he did not know i saw him through the kitchen window….i got a refund and vowed not to go back....
