Corner Cafe At The Leland — Restaurant in Richmond

I decided to try it, because I heard about the background of the people who work there, a good location, I had tried one of their brownies when I got my hair done at my salon, and it's local, and we need to support local businesses. I had their fried chicken meal, and it was great. I plan to get back sometime. UPDATE:. November 8, 2022-I got some sad news about this place. According to Instagram, they will be closing on December 30th. I have been so busy I haven't had a chance to go back and try more food and get more pictures. I was looking forward to it. UPDATE:. December 9, 2022-Great news! According to Instagram, they are going to be staying open into next year and for many years to come. I want to have their fried chicken again and get some more pictures of their food. UPDATE:. April 19, 2023-I finally was able to come back today! The entree of the day was Stuffed Chicken Breast, so I ordered that, along with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Fresh Fruit, and Coke Zero. It was just as delicious as the first time I was here! I plan to come back and try more...

Fantastic local spot for lunch! Well worth the few minutes drive from I-70 past all of the chain restaurants to find this great local restaurant. Staff is exactly what you would expect from a locally owned restaurant - very friendly! Service, food and ambience is great. I highly recommend and would definitely return if I'm in the area again.
