Plenty healthy entree choices including many vegetarian selections! Their fresh fruit cups and fresh fruit platter with their signature fruit dip is definitely a MUST for you to try. If you don’t have time to dine in, then this location has a separate “To-Go” entrance. You can go in browse a menu and place your order, and it is prepared fresh while you wait. You may also place your order online with their app, or you may look at their menu online and call in your order then go pick it up. This weekend we were back in the area, and definitely knew where and what we wanted for lunch- Jason’s Deli. We decided to dine-in and both my husband and I chose the large Plain Jane baked potato which is HUGE and most of all DELICIOUS! Then we each got a sandwich, which we ended up taking home for later. All food ingredients were fresh, and the restaurant dining area was very clean. The very kind gentleman who was cleaning and sanitizing the tables checked on us several times to see if everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. This is my first time at this location and when I walked in I was ignored. I walked up to the counter and stated that I was picking up an online order and gave my name. The younger man responded with “oh great that’s your order” (some guy was walking out with my bag) so I say excuse to me the man walking out cause the cashier was just going to let him walk out. He comes back and it was not my order. The cashier did not say anything else to me. Then an older gentleman employee is walking around. I walk back to the register asking the older man when my order will be ready and he asks condescendingly, “well what’s your order, what’s your name.” I say it’s an online order. The name is Aleisha. He goes did you check the rack. And I’m like no because obviously I thought it was not ready by how the younger cashier greeted me….I guess they were busy. It was only 1 other customer in the restaurant but I will stick with the willow lawn location if that is the customer service I’m going to receive when I come to...

The food is always great - gotta love their salad bar. We especially love the zucchini sticks, pickled beets, goddess salad dressing, and the seeded crackers. Just wish they still had the chocolate mousse for those who don't want the ice cream. The ice cream used to be creamier, but is now more like what they have at a Golden Trough - more of an ice milk.

The service is lacking at this location - employees seem to be hanging out rather than working and were not friendly when my kids needed to change out their buffet plate for a clean one. The guy bussing tables was very kind though and smiled while offering to take our plates when we were done. This is in a great location for both southsiders and city dwellers, so it would be great if they could return to the fabulous service and better salad bar that they had before COVID.
