We went during lunch. The restaurant had customers but was not too busy. We were seated immediately, and our drinks brought promptly. We chose the Tandoori sampler for and appetizer. It was hot and fresh and savory....it was perfect. My husband and I ordered lunch specials of Lamb & Chicken Tikka Masala, which came with soup and dessert. Soup was some sort of pea soup- but much tastier than regular pea soup! It was warm, just right for a cold windy day. Next the masala.....I got mine hot, my husband got his mild. Let me preface by saying both were on point and easily the best Indian fare in the Richmond area. Specifically, the heat on my masala was sweet throughout but came on in back end and built with every bite, causing the pleasantly happy heat that makes you smile. There's not too much to say about the main dishes. They were hot, perfect, fresh, well portioned. Rice served family style, but the Naan! It was warm, butter, flaky, crunchy, soft....it was the best Naan I've ever had. They gave me extra to take home at no charge. Finally the dessert, I don't know what it was or it's name but it was good, like a cream with pureed strawberry....simple, good, and not heavy. A nice way to round out the meal. I have tried many an Indian place over the past 10years of my time in Richmond, this place is the best, no question.

Must try Indian restaurant in Richmond.. their lunch entrees are really good.. we had their popular Chicken tikka masala and lamb Rohan Josh for lunch today.. we ordered with spice level as Hot.. we are used to spicy food but it was really spicy for us :) so I can’t imagine having their Indian hot level.. I would recommend ordering medium spicy.. both gravy items were really tasty and thick consistency.. u can see it in the pics.. for lunch they served coconut milk with lemon soup .. it was tasty but we felt the portion was more for a single person.. entrees come with complementary rice and a Naan .. quantity and quality of the food is really good for the price they charge.. overall we had great food and good service.. We had one minor issue though.. both lamb and chicken was little tough .. May be a bit overcooked.. hope they can correct it.. Looking forward to try out other options in their menu..

Something that sets Lemon Cuisine of India apart is their commitment to authenticity; every dish is crafted with care, and you can tell they are using traditional recipes. The dedication to quality ingredients is evident in every mouthful, ensuring that each meal exceeds expectations. They even use real lobster and crab meat, not imitation meat in their seafood dishes. Portion sizes are HUGE. I guarantee you will either leave very full or with a second dinner to-go.

The service is impeccable, with staff members who are knowledgeable and meticulous about the food they serve. I also want to specifically recognize Timothy for his professionalism and exceptional customer service. He is an asset to your restaurant and I highly encourage you to give him a healthy raise!

I highly recommend you explore their selection of freshly baked naan bread. There are several varieties of naan, my favorite of which is their cheese naan. NOTE: you can select how spicy you want your food, from mild to Indian hot, and some even come with the option of double Indian hot. As someone who enjoys world-record level spicy food, I am cautioning you to pick a comfortable level, as the double Indian hot is spicy enough to make you lay down for a while. Very delicious, and VERY spicy.

This place is a true gem for anyone seeking an authentic taste of India, and their willingness to provide delicious, generously portioned dishes stands as a testament to their...

If I could leave 10 Stars I most certainly would! Today was my first time eating food from Lemon Cuisine of India, and it was an Experience! I ordered food with Door Dash for a coworker and myself. An hour and 10 minutes had gone by so I call the restaurant and spoke with a guy named, Greg. Apparently, our food was still there and no one had come to pick it up yet. So I called Door Dash customer service and later learned they could not get a hold of their driver so they canceled my order, refunded me my money, and my coworker and I were still starving! I called the restaurant back and the guy, Greg, said the driver had just come to p/u the food 0_o? However, no one ever showed up at our job to deliver. I called Lemon Cuisine of India back and Greg said he would REMAKE my food and personally bring it to our office at NO charge! Twenty minutes later he called me, I went downstairs and shook his hand and gave him a nice offering/tip of my gratitude. He was so humble and apologetic for something that wasn't even his fault. I told him, THIS is Excellent Customer Service! Needless to say, my coworker and I enjoyed the food and will be ordering again soon. The moral of this story is to treat people with exquisite service! If you love what you do then it no longer is a job. Greg was dressed professionally and his mannerism and desire to satisfy a customer exploded through his kind...
