We (party of 3 adults 2 kids) ate (Supper!) on Friday evening 4-25-25:
We ordered: -Fried pickles ($10) -Cast Iron Pan Seared Salmon w/mashed potatoes ($25) -Riverside City Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich w/fries ($14) -Mac n Cheese w/ fries ($8) -Grilled Cheese w/ mac n cheese ($8)
-2 sweet teas (small kids w/ lids) -3 Rum Punches ($10 ea. 8oz glass filled w/ice) -1 Pepsi
Staff was very inviting and accommodating when we arrived. The wait time was over 30 minutes for a table but they had plenty of tables available. This was either due to reservations or being short staffed which I am inclined to believe they were short based on our service. There was no inside seating to wait but there was outside seating to wait and it was nice weather so we sat at a picnic table. Overall staff was 8 out of 10.
All of the food was really good including the kids food. I could tell they used a good loaf of sourdough for the Grilled Cheese and the Mac n Cheese used spiral elbows (these weren't too fancy for the kids but still worth the money if you know what I mean). The kids even ate some of the fried pickles which were thicker than I'm used to, which I liked a lot. I am a little bit of a BBQ snob but let me say the BBQ was pretty great! The plain salted shoestring fries were a 7.7 out of 10. Overall food was 8.8 out of 10
The Sweet Teas and the Rum Punches were delicious and strong. These were some of the best drinks I've ever had while dining out. While the Rum Punch drinks were delicious, the glasses were about 8oz and filled to the top with nugget ice. So not much drink to drink. Took me about 4 sips to finish it off. Overall drinks were 8.7 out of 10.
The waitress timing was just okay. I'm assuming they were short staffed and busy. It took 10 minutes to get drinks. Another 15 minutes to get an appetizer. And another 15 minutes to get the main courses. To put into perspective we arrived at 7pm and left at 9pm, wasting no time. It was also difficult to order all of this at once since the cooks brought the food and the bartender brought the drinks. Our waitress was scarce. Overall service was 6.1 out of 10 tonight.
The total bill was exactly $127.00 (tax / tip not included). Overall by math...

Read moreI came in today 9/2 & there was a low wait . We chose to sit at the bar . My husband ordered shrimp & grits ( which he said was good ) & a waffle ( he said it was dry ) , I ordered the short rib with Mac & cheese ( appetizer) & crab dip . Short rib had no flavor & the mac&cheese was running . No flavor , no seasoning just bland . The crab dip looked like cottage cheese . It had more cheese in it than crab meat . The lady who brought the food out , dropped the plate on the table with half of my pita bread went on the bar counter off the plate & the small dish of crab dip was tipped over on the counter off the plate . The drinks were good but it was so much ice in the cup you hardly had a drink . I sent both dishes back to to kitchen & was asked if I would like to order something else . I ordered the wings ( buffalo ) after about a 10 min wait of no wings , a lady tells me that the kitchen is backed up & she would take all my food off the bill . By that time we were ready to go so she said that if the wings were done before I left she would box them for me free of charge as well. The wings came out about 8mins later . The wings were ok but tasted just like pickles 🤔 the pickle taste was so overpowering it took over the buffalo flavor . Meanwhile as I was sitting at the bar , I noticed how unsanitary they are . Flies all over the garnishments the were using to garnish the drink cups . So disgusting 🤢 no one covered it & they continue to use the same garnishment on cups they were serving their customers with . I will never come back to this establishment after this . This was my second time here & it will be a hard pass...
