This is easily one of if not the worst McDonald's location I have ever been to and the reason I say that is because I'm not basing my review on a single visit but a collaboration of multiple visits over time. Every time I go here I wait for usually no reason because they are not busy with customers they are usually just too busy playing with their nails or using their cell phones or talking amongst themselves to bother to take your order. When they do take your order you can forget about getting any kind of respect or manners out of anybody in this restaurant management included. In fact I would say the management is actually the worst at being rude I guess because they're not afraid of being disciplined. Obviously nobody is reinforcing how to properly run a customer service establishment. You can expect to be rushed along while trying to order with phrases like is that it or what else instead of saying things like can I get to anything else or would that be all. You better make sure you tell them if you want to have it for here because they're not going to ask you when will automatically assume everything's to go. Even if you tell them they'll likely still put it in a bag and rushed you out the door which I can't even say is a bad thing considering all the tables are always dirty the floor is always sticky and the place always smells like bad body odor. The food is beyond unfresh! In the dozens of times I've been here I have never gotten food that was fresh fries are always old and stale sometimes hard but almost always cold and they have that nasty burnt taste like they don't change the grease in their fryers so about two seconds after eating a french fry you get that nasty taste in your mouth that just won't leave. That seem nasty burnt taste can be found on the chicken nuggets or a chicken sandwich basically anything that's deep fried. Multiple times I have ordered apple pies only to have them so hard that I could not chew them. I've even bang them on the counter to express to the staff how unacceptable they are, they're like hockey pucks. McDonald's food is already questionable when it's fresh so you can imagine an old dried-out Patty on the stale bun is anything--but edible. Don't even think about ordering something from McCafe or out of the ice cream machine because it's always broken. No shakes! Sometimes you can order a ice cream cone but it would be no surprise that the employees will handle the ice cream cone with no gloves and just put their nasty fingers all over your ice cream cone while making it and then if you're lucky though put a napkin around it after putting their nasty hands all over it to hand it to you. The last time I went here I experienced pretty much everything mentioned above but as added insult to injury they lost my order and after waiting quite some time I complained and was able to receive my order after having to argue with the management. Because apparently the customer is not always right here they were too concerned that I had received my food and was lying trying to get something free so I literally had to argue with the management. Upon receiving my food I asked for a dipping sauce which I was promptly charged for! Which I could understand in normal circumstances but after ignoring me and I had to speak up to have my order taken and then losing my order and making me wait over 15 minutes for my food and then arguing with me about rather or not I had gotten my food you cannot give me a dipping sauce on the house? Shouldn't you be trying to make my experience better? Then the real kicker came when I asked for a glass of water and was again presented with a charge. They wanted to charge me for a glass of water. I understand that things cost money and sure maybe you need to cover the cost of the cup but come on McDonald's you're a multi-billion-dollar industry you can't afford to give out a cup of water to a customer that you just treated so poorly and disrespectfully and given such subpar food to? Is it really necessary. And bathrooms are ALWAYS...

Read moreI was with my husband @ V CU Hospital I was so Hungry I decided to get McDonald's this was one of the worst decision I have ever made. I'm not from Richmond because if I was I probably would have known not to go here. The food was Ice Cold but the bag had steam I'm not sure how. the bread was tough and chewy the edges of my burger was dried out, I'm not sure how long it had been sitting. I tried to eat it because I was so hungry but I started to feel nausea. I'm praying this food wasn't too old. The cashier at window was very polite, I'm pretty sure she was not preparing food so I cannot blame her. My best friend is a General manager to a McDonald's and I love to eat there food is always fresh no matter what time but I know he is a professional and he will guide his team so he can never receive a review like this, I'm pretty sure this is not the characteristics of this locations GM. The General manager for this location should be ashamed or demoted because I blame them. it takes a great leader to lead and be a role model for their team. I'm pretty sure whoever is running this location is not fit to lead. McDonald's is to much of a huge franchise to be this terrible. I have never in my 40 years taste McDonald's so bad and this is the honest truth, and I never do reviews but I couldn't let this pass I'm not worried about my $$$, no one should have to go through this and believe me this is not anger, this is disbelief and truly shocked. pure disgust...whoever leads this location seriously needs an evaluation. Im pretty sure I will receive a general apology, but if anyone at the corporate location read this please contact this location and get them together. JUST SAYING....
