I primarily visited the Trails to Mountain Bike trails. I love them! I try to stick to the Blue trails or more challenging ones to continue practicing and improving my skills. They are very good. However, I do find some signage is missing or inaccurate, and where some trails cross, it can be confusing. I also noticed that some trails were not passable due to fallen trees and larger branches. I may need a little help navigating those. Additionally, it appears that most Black trails, as they arenโ€™t used, are overgrown with weeds and plants that can scratch you on the way down. Overall, itโ€™s a great and enjoyable place to ride.

I really like this park. It's pretty spacious considering the location, in my opinion. There's a cool statue, workout equipment stations, a playground, big trees, plenty of grassy space, and one of the best views you can find anywhere of the richmond skyline. I would like to see the bathrooms reopened; they are closed and locked. But I really love this park. I come here with my dog almost every day nowadays. Come hang.

Jefferson Park is such a beautiful spot! I visited with my husband and our 3-year-old son, and we all had a great time. The park offers something for everyoneโ€”there are amazing views, a nice walking path, and a couple of playgrounds that kept our little one entertained. The newer playgrounds are perfect, with one designed for younger kids and another for older ones. We loved the outdoor workout equipment along the lower path tooโ€”itโ€™s a fun way to get some exercise while enjoying the fresh air. The view of the city is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset, and the park's location on a hill makes it even more scenic. Itโ€™s a peaceful place to relax, with friendly people and even bike tools available for anyone who needs them. Definitely a spot weโ€™ll...

It's a small park with some big views. In the spring and fall, the views are especially good, but beyond just looking out on the city, the playground is just the right size. I've got little kids and they're neither overwhelmed nor bored.

There's a fountain which is pretty in the warmer months, almost always visited by birds. A short jogging trail with workout stations circles the park. I've also seen people exercise by just running up and down the steep stairs leading up from the bottom of the hill.

There's a fair amount of on-street parking both at the playground area and at the bottom of the hill. It's not a lot of parking, but it's sufficient for a...

Humble parks that aren't over mastered, but allow adults & children to recognize real nature and its beauty are becoming rare. Children need to grow in the truth of free beauty and pollinator habitats that provide for wildlife and improve quality of life along with mental health. Nature abates flooding as well. Removing natural plants and ground cover leaves dry air and tinder ripe neighborhoods much like California & Colorado have seen. Leave ground cover that gets admonished & replaced by grass & crepe myrtle in foolish gentrification and its natural protection to all life is free. No costs. Leave it free & let it be & quality of life flourishes...
