Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Richmond

The last time I ordered Papa John's Pizza was 11 years ago. That time, I had to wait 3 hours for a pizza. When it finally came, it was cold, and it had to be sent back for a hot pizza. I swore I was never going to order from Papa John's Pizza again. Times have changed. After having trouble with Domino's Pizza several times not bringing the correct drink, I decided to give Papa John's a try again. I ordered a Small Tuscan 6 Cheese Pizza and a Pepsi Zero. It was delivered on time. It was hot and delicious. They even brought the correct drink! I am willing to give Papa John's Pizza a try again. Thank you. UPDATE: December 4, 2024-I ordered a Small Philly Cheese Steak Pizza and a Aquafina. It was good, but the toppings kept falling off. I am so used to ordering Domino's Philly Cheese Steak Pizza, and I think theirs is the better Philly Cheese Steak Pizza. They have other pizzas to choose from. UPDATE: March 1, 2025-I ordered a Small the Works Pizza and a Pepsi Zero. The pizza was alright. I did use a $5 gift card from AARP, which helped bring down the cost. UPDATE: April 9, 2025-I ordered a Small Garden Fresh Pizza and a bottle of Aquafina. I had them make the pizza with no tomatoes, and it was still good. The whole meal was delicious. UPDATE: April 26, 2025-I got a free dessert for my birthday, so along with my pizza and drink, I ordered a free Oreo Cookie Papa Bites. Each one was so small and so delicious! There were several in the box, and I was able to make it last a whole week! UPDATE: July 12, 2025-I decided to try the Medium Double Cheeseburger Pizza, along with a Pepsi Zero. The pizza was alright. It wasn't one of my favorites. The sauce was not like what is normally on a pizza. Of course, it tasted more like a cheeseburger. Since it is a limited time item, I probably won't order it again. UPDATE: September 7, 2025-I haven't had a Works Pizza in a while, so I ordered that. It was well worth it. Terrible experience! I placed a large order for 20 people the day before delivery. I requested it to be delivered at 11:45 the next day. I was told it would not be an issue. The next day, I called at 11:30 to check on the delivery to ensure they were running on time. I was told my order would not go into the oven until noon, they would be there at 1 because the orders placed that morning with earlier delivery times were going out before mine. Although 8 people were in the store (4 up at the counter), had to wait a few minutes for anyone to start helping me. Fella who finally did 'help' handed me a receipt and told me to get my drinks. I wait for a few more minutes before another employee starts helping me all over again. Then they finally look at the rack and notice my food has been sitting there waiting, since I walked in the door. I get home, no one of the many people working could double check my order. Missing all the extra sauces I paid for. Then, the pizza isn't even fully cut -- because they left in the metal baking tray! Never again. Go...
