Update: it’s been 2 years since I’ve left this review. I still eat here quite often; after leaving this original review I’ve had some pleasant experiences with this qdoba. The ones that seem like managers are always super friendly and welcoming. I’ve also had some not so good experiences. The last time I went into order in person the guy that took me and my partners order didn’t greet us at all, had an AirPod in and when he was waiting on our quesadillas to finish cooking, he was on his phone with his gloves still on, and proceeded to use the same gloves to finish our meals. I work in a restaurant and I know the struggle of having to tell employees to not wear AirPods, but the thing that grosses me out was that he got on his phone with his gloves still on and didn’t change them afterwards. My partner and I ordered again today for their Halloween special, we do it every year, but this time we ordered it online. Everytime I order online I have to ask for extra of almost everything because of the portion sizes and sometimes I don’t even get extra. My bowl didn’t have any peppers, and my chips and queso bag was only about 1/4 of the way filled with chips. You would think if it cost almost $6 that I would always get consistent portion sizes. I HATE complaining and like I said I do work in a restaurant, but this inconsistency and the cleanliness not being good is ridiculous.
I used to eat here all the time. it used to be so good. the past couple of times haven't been good. this past time I went I walk through the door and they don't greet me whatsoever. I wait a couple of minutes to be helped because they were working on online orders, I was the only one in line. I don't normally get a burrito here because the workers can't wrap them good but i decided to get one. I usually get veggies and they didn't have any on the line, but there was a dirty pan on the stove with old cooked veggies. The first wrap he had broke so he got another one and that one broke too. he then grabs a bowl and lid and gives me the mess ripped burrito. I got chips and queso as well and i got half the portion of chips i usually get. Didn't even say have a good day when i left. Awful customer service, super...
Read moreEdit - 2 months later: Tonight craving some Qdoba but still trying to remain cautious while the pandemic is even worse, I called this location to ask if curbside service now includes bringing fountain drinks (see original review below), and was told it still does NOT. They'll bring bottled drinks, but fountain drinks require a customer to come inside the building, even if they ordered curbside pick-up. I've reduced my previously 2-star review to a 1-star because it's really bizarre that this location is not addressing an obvious problem with their pick-up system.
Original review: Avoid the curbside service. The food and all is fine, but their curbside service isn't setup very well.
We ordered a meal from there through the app, including drinks. When they brought the meal to us our cups were tied up in the bag, empty, and the girl explained that we had to go inside and fill those up ourselves....? That goes completely against the point of curbside and I'm confused how no one in the process seemed to realize this.
Add to this, their system is overall just very strange. Some of this is Qdoba's app's fault, but still, this location seemed especially poorly adapted. We called upon arriving and they said they'd bring our food when it was ready but at no point asked what our car looked like, nor was there any designated curbside pickup parking that we could see (admittedly it was dark but we didn't see any such signage, but they also didn't say anything to suggest there was signage). 20 minutes later, no food so we call again, and go through the whole process again. Our food had been ready a few minutes, we'd just been forgotten. The poor girl struggled to find us (again, no discernable curbside parking) and our bag also had no utensils in it, plus the...
Read moreWe stopped in here to eat around 3-ish pm to eat. Not a single one of the young men working was friendly. Not one of them even spoke to us at all. Not one word. They just looked at us and waited for us to say what we wanted. Actually one of them made a face when I asked for another scoop of corn salsa (bc he had to bend over and grab another pan of it). I had the burrito bowl. We split the cheese encrusted quesadila. The cheese was literally just melted and greasy on top.. not encrusted at all.. My husband had street tacos. His tacos were so inconsistent. One had a huge pile of the onions, another had 1 piece of a slice. There were so many rice pieces in my burrito bowl that were too hard to chew so my husband took it back up to ask for replacement. The next one was the same. No apology, no words were even spoken from the young man my husband gave the 1st bowl to. There was also large stems and sections of cilantro in the pico to the point where I had to pick it out and tear it apart. What the heck happened to this place?? We used to LOVE...
