Okay. Where to begin? The lady who took my order was very nice. That's it! That's the only positive I have for this place.
I had ordered a general Tso dinner combo with pork fried rice, no vegetables in the rice, a largE chicken fried rice with only carrots and eggs added, crab ragoons, and a small white rice. Everything totalled $36 and some change. The so called "chicken" tasted very slimy and had no resemblance to chicken, in any way. The general Tso was absolutely atrocious!! All of the rice was mushy and tasted old. The chicken fried rice was extremely salty (I'm going to assume for the MSG, which I have no issue with, but moderation does count). The crab ragoons tasted like they had been made yesterday.
From previous reviews, it seems like I'm not going to get a response or even a refund, but I just want everyone to know my honest review of this place. Please be safe y'all! As a chef, I was very concerned about the quality and freshness...
Read moreLet me start by saying I order from here often and normally love the food but unfortunately tonight was different. I ordered something I have gotten before and loved but this time it wasn't like normal. The chicken was supposed to be crunchy and instead was soggy also the sauce was like a jelly instead of a sauce. I called to ask if I could have a refund if I brought the food back and was told yes. I proceeded to explain over the phone why I wasn't happy and the employee argued with me that my food was fresh and had not been sitting like I'm positive it was. Sweet and sour chicken is supposed to be crispy and hot not soggy and luke warm. I'm only leaving this review because she argued with me about the quality of the food and I think that's incredibly rude. Word to the wise only go here when it's busy because its worth the wait to get it fresh. This is the only time I have ordered when it wasn't busy and it's the only time I've had a...
Read moreMy coworker treated me to lunch today and I'm skeptical about trying new Chinese restaurants but he has eaten here and my dad loves their food so I went with it. I got shrimp egg foo young and it was tasty (I didn't have to add salt like I usually do) and they use light gravy instead of the dark brown that I usually get. About 3 bites in I pull a piece of aluminum or what I thought to be a bread tie out of my mouth. It actually was a piece off a a cleaning scouring pad for pots and pans. I immediately took the meal back and asked for a refund. The cashier apologized a couple of times and gave me the money. She offered to make another but I declined. I gave them 2 stars because she didn't fight with me about a refund and the food was good from the couple of...
