I would give this place zero stars if I could. The food, as any fan of Stuffy's knows, would have been pretty good had it actually been delivered. I ordered a simple sub, cookie, and drink at 5:30pm on a Sunday. The woman taking my order was short with me, but professional enough even though she got my name, my name of my location, and apparently my food order wrong. My food was not delivered for over an hour. When it finally showed up I was willing to be forgiving. I asked if it always took an hour to deliver food close to the restaurant (I was 8 minutes from it) and was told half-halfheartedly that it can take long to find buildings on campus. This can be true, but many mapping apps recognize the address easily and are able to navigate drivers there. The driver acted annoyed that I even asked and walked away as soon as I paid him. Shortly thereafter, I discovered they had sent the wrong food. I called and explained that my order was messed up and the woman I spoke to on the phone was professional and tried to remedy the situation. I was told the correct food would be sent within the hour. Again, I waited an hour and this time no delivery was made. I called the restaurant and a male answered the phone in a gruff voice. I explained that I had been waiting for my correct order to be delivered and the man responded dismissively. He, for no apparent reason, asked if this was the first time I had had the wrong food delivered and told me that because the delivery person was busy with orders (which apparently even though Stuffy's had already taken my money I was not considered among those orders) and that I would not be getting my food. He said the woman I spoke to at 6:30pm "spoke out of turn" and that he was the manager. This man refused to take any action to fix the situation or honor the fact that I had already paid. He did not apologize for the mistake or the 2 hours I spent waiting for my food. I've ordered there in person and observed that the employees seemed disinterested in serving me, but I did not give up on the business. I am now over it. I have never been through such a bizarre customer service experience ordering food. After the disrespect and poor service, I will never ever give this business a penny of my hard-earned money again. The nonexistent customer service is a joke and the deplorable delivery service is an embarrassment....
Read moreThis place is amazing. I have been stuck at St Mary's hospital because my fiance is in there and their food sucks, so I wanted to see what was close and this place hasn't failed me! I've ordered from them twice and adding delivery for a dollar has been totally worth it. Their cheesesteak was great and I am very picky about my cheesesteaks. The southwest sub I had yesterday I ordered for "just the way it comes" but it had a bunch of extra stuff on it and no salsa but it was still a tasty sandwich so I wasn't really upset about it. Oh and their Italian seasoned bread was phenomenal. As someone who has been in the food industry for 20 years and ran a sub place for over a year, I gotta say....this place is hard to beat when it comes to a good sandwich in this city. I called to have it corrected and Hernan was adamant that he didn't give us the wrong order . I told him several times, I have the receipt, the food and the bag that he wrote the order on. He wrote the order correctly on the bag but what was given to us was incorrect. So after 10 minutes of going back and forth. We was finally told to come back and pick you the correct order. Now I'm scared to eat it because I don't know what he did to the food. This will definitely be our last...
