Waffles & Cream — Restaurant in Richmond

Such a disappointment, I had brought my family out visiting from out of the country to have some ice cream. And we had such high hopes as the inside looked beautiful and filled with customers, so of course it led us to believe we were in for a great experience, until what has ensued AFTER we had ordered our food. And for starters, as it had seemed to be the case for many, they were out of flavors and bubble waffles. And, even more infuriating almost immediately after handing us one of the ice creams we'd ordered, the scoop fell off the cone AND the audacity of Samantha (the employee servicing us) had blamed it on US. implying that WE had dropped it from moving around the cone. KEEP IN MIND we are all damn well old enough to know how to properly hold an ice cream cone. She had instead suggested us to buy another 5 DOLLAR scoop with no apology, no refund, and not even a hint of remorse for HER mistake. The fact this is how they treat customers who spent nearly 50 dollars on ice cream... how disappointing, and we had came in the mindset of supporting a local businesses. Such a shame, the lack of quality in basic customer service. Disappointing to have to suggest that if you come to this establishment and have the luck to be served an unsecured ice cream scoop, that you will NOT receive compensation for the workers mistakes. Highly unfortunate and would not recommend this business solely based on the customer service. And all in all the flavors weren't even that great. With all of us agreeing that the waffles were bland and the ice cream being pretty flavorless....

For Valentine’s Day, my boyfriend surprised me with waffles from a local spot, and I was impressed! I tried both the standard waffle and the Hong Kong-style waffle, and they were absolutely delicious. The classic waffle was perfectly crisp on the outside while staying soft and fluffy inside. The Hong Kong waffle had a light, airy texture with a fun, chewy bite that made it extra enjoyable. Both had just the right amount of sweetness, making them a great treat without being overwhelming.

This place also sells ice cream, which I didn’t get to try this time, but I definitely will in the future. I can already imagine how amazing the ice cream would taste paired with one of their warm, freshly made waffles. Whether you’re craving a simple, comforting waffle or something with a bit of a twist, this spot delivers on flavor and texture.

The quality and taste of the waffles have me excited to go back and explore more of their menu. Next time, I’ll be sure to try their ice cream as well—it seems like the perfect combination! If you're a fan of waffles and sweet treats, this place is definitely...

Waffles & Cream is a delicious place for sweets. My favorite being their cookie monster milkshake. I’ve had their delicious treats since they’ve opened up and have had the opportunity to try different varieties off their menu. Everyone has their own preferences of course as I prefer the Belgian Waffle over the Bubble. If this is your first time trying Waffles & Cream I would recommend starting off with something simple but delicious such as their Liege Waffle Belgian Delight (Banana, Strawberry, Nutella, House Whip, and Vanilla Ice Cream on top of a Belgian Waffle). If you want something such a single scoop the Cookie Monster is a great option it’s cookies and cream mixed with cookie dough. The new star of the show the upcoming trending Dubai Chocolate covered Strawberries is another great option. Cheaper than many other places with great ratios and quantity of the sweet treat.
