Dude OMYeeessss. I mean Mississippi Catfish was renowned, but honestly—and I don’t know why—but I’m not that into fish. Now, gimme some yellow coconut chicken curry and… yummmmyyyy! ! !
They were friendly and smiling. They said it would take 20 minutes, but I think it was less than 10 minutes—SUPER FAST!
I took it home and put it into my face, then I fell asleep happy and content.
Thai iced tea was bitter on the bottom, I think a sign of fresh brewed, BAYBAY!
Clean. Well lit. Cute logo with nice colors and a happy face/chef.
Parking is slim pickin’s ‘cause the restaurant is tucked between the smog place and the muffler place, but there’s plenty of street parking and that’s easier to pull in and out of anyway.
UPDATE: Clean bathroom with cute decorations.
UPDATE: Is this the best yellow curry my face has ever had? Possibly. All the ingredients are so soft they melt in my mouth—even the chicken, so tender and succulent like a young mothers’ bosom.
If you choose to give a thumbs-up 👍🏽 or not, I hope you found my...

Not fancy but clean, stuff out here and there, kitchen noisy and productive, service without parallel – quick, easy and kind, nearly every inside seat filled, and takeout was robust too. And then the food - simple, clean, not pretentious, attractively served, not overly sweetened (talking to you, Thai chili sauce and sticky rice!) and seriously ample. They seem to really enjoy that people enjoy their food. They may cut a few corners here and there, like, the same cubes of lightly fried tofu appear as a separate appetizer and as a standard ingredient of the Pad Thai, but good on them - the menu is huge for such a small place. If you want to spend your money on ambience or impress someone on date night, try a different restaurant. If you want big bowls and full platters of clean, simple, tasty Thai, give them a try. I had the fried tofu appetizer, Pad Thai, and mango with sticky rice for $36 total including tax, took half of every dish home, and will absolutely...
Read moreVery good!! Totally worth a trip for authentic tasting Thai food, and because it’s a bit tucked into Richmond you’ll save a couple bucks per dish compared to more gentrified restaurants only a couple minutes south.
I love the soft super wide noodles in their noodle dishes; softer and even wider than typical Thai noodles in say, pad see ew. And I love that they give lots of noodles vs a ton of veggies and meat; if I want a noodle dish, I want noodles! If I want a paleo dish, I’ll order one😊
The basil eggplant was a little different from the usual, which I loved! Lots of eggplant, but also a healthy mix of shredded cabbage, small carrots, chopped green beans and adorable tiny Asian mushrooms🍄🍆🥬🥕 I did get no protein and asked for just lots of veggies, not sure if that influenced things.
I like that this place is a tiny bit different from the same-y Thai dishes you get everywhere always! But still it’s the core dish you...
