We got a sandwich and salad to go. The food was delicious and the ingredients were all clearly extremely fresh. However, while there on a busy Saturday, it appeared there was a break down of the system of shuffling the paper orders down the line. We ended up waiting 55 minutes from ordering before we got our sandwiches, with no explanation given for the long wait. The girls at the counter were very friendly and courteous, but we saw a realization moment of "oh no" before what we guessed were our orders were retaped far down the line and then our orders were made right away. We could see they were working hard to complete all the orders, but I would not even be mentioning this in the review if a simple "so sorry for your wait" was said after realizing they had skipped over our order by accident.

The store was cute. The service was absolutely horrid. We stood at the counter that said "please order here" waiting for someone to take our order. The two workers completely ignored us, but we thought it was because they were busy so we didnt think too much of it. However, when the worker finally decided to ask if we needed something, she acted as though we were standing in the wrong spot. As new customers how were we supposed to know that? When she tells my husband that we can order at the register she has a condescending tone. We make our order and it's $10 for a small smoothie. We wait for a few minutes and when we finally taste our drink it is horrid. Tasted like dirt and we could not finish it. Oh my goodness!!! If you want healthy great food and even BETTER service, go here to Pure Healing Foods. I'm working at the Naval base for 2 days, up from San Diego, CA and looked online for natural foods. I had the incredible pleasure of meeting two awesome, super friendly, cheerful and pleasant young ladies, one very young: Danel & Antonia (pardon me if I didn't spell correctly). These two made my whole trip up here from San Diego SO worth it and SO pleasant. What a Joy to talk with both of them. The smoothie & Acai bowl I ordered were both awesome as well.
