I checked the reviews before going and this place received and 4.5 out of 5. Everyone gave them praise on their authenticity and how delicious the food tasted. The food did not live up to the hype. I ordered the mixed grill fajitas (steak chicken and shrimp) and the chorizo gorditas. Sooo disappointed. My food had zero flavor. they could not have used an ounce of salt or pepper. Also some of my peppers still had the produce sticker on it (see pic) which means they to not clean the vegetables before using them. I will say this though the elderly lady who took my order was extremely nice

Such a cute find during my bike ride. The ladies that were working were the cutest. I LOVED their spicy tinga tostadas! It was a generous portion for all ingredients. I would say this is my fave spot for tostadas. It used to be Viva Margarita in Edgewater NJ & Antojitos Mexicanos NJ but now this gem takes 1st place! Looking forward to visiting again so I can try the diff types of tostadas. Also their horchata is amazing! So refreshing, the best out there.

Food is good šŸ‘ highly recommend for pick up or delivery, dinning area is pretty small. It’s more of a home made experience so don’t spec fancy decor on your food like some other places but the flavor is definitely there šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

True, the place is not your typical Chili's or South of the Border. It's a mere six tables set in a small 12x16 front room of a 1 family structure home. Once seated, the server gets you started with a basket full of toasty hot corn tortillas and some pico de gallo style salsa. I suggest ordering a bowl of freshly made guacamole to go with the salsa & chips. There is no alcoholic beverages sold here. They do have bottled water, bottled Coke, 7-Up, ginger ale, apple juice, pineapple juice, peach and pear nectars and lemon & peach Snapple. If you prefer, you may bring your own frozen Daily's, pre-chilled Smirnoffs Ice, or Jose Cuervo ready to drink margarita. If you want to start with an appetizer, try the Marisco (seafood) soup. The portion is large enough to share, but won't want to once you get started. It's really very good. For dinner my wife had the chicken stuffed burritos with Mole sauce. She was blown away not only by the huge serving, but she stated that the combination of fresh herbs and spices enhanced the flavors of the meat and grains to a level of WOW! She gave me a taste and I have to agree, it was fabulous. I ordered the Chicken-Beef & Shrimp in a moderately spicy Poblano cream sauce. This too was outstanding. The shrimp were Tiger shrimp size and they were sweet and tender. Not skimpy either. I had two juicy chicken breast strips and several slivers of moist, savory beef. In addition my entree came with a side of yellow rice, refried beans and 5 warm flour tortillas. Neither one of us were able to finish our meals. My wife had her 2nd burrito wrapped to go. I had it for lunch the next day :-9 Trust me when I say that you won't be able to budge from your table for at least 20 minutes after your meal. For desert they offer Flan, a light caramel flavored egg custard with a drizzle of burnt sugar syrup. The Tres Leches cake is white cake infused with evaporated, condensed and regular milk. The cake is then refrigerated long enough for the milk combination to be absorbed. The recipe doesn't call for frosting because the milk blend give it the right amount of sweetness and flavor necessary to stand up to a tall glass of icy cold milk and perfectly complement any exceptional brand of coffee you care to brew. Other desert choices are: Lime Jello with fruit cocktail, pineapple sundae, Mango ice cream, apple pie a la mode and key lime pie. Presentation here is plain & simple. And everything is made to order. So bring your appetite, a little patience and a positive attitude. You...

If you care about yourself, don't eat here. The food here is absolutely DISGUSTING! Tacos are SUPER dry with little to no flavor , and it hurts to swallow them. To possibly enjoy them, you would need to drench them in Salsa.... that comes from a can, THAT THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO CHARGE YOU $1.50 extra for! Myself and my co-worker ordered enchiladas and they were TERRIBLE. They tasted like a wet mop that someone threw hot sauce on. When we brought them back, I spoke to the Owner and was ATTACKED and asked why I ever came there and told I needed to humble myself... All their food is microwaved, (especially the rice and beans which taste like they've been sitting out for days) and the inside of this place is just NASTY! This is not Authentic Mexican Food. PLEASE save your money and time. Go somewhere else, there's a million better places in the area. Whoever is giving this place 5 stars must know the...

The food is ok/good, nothing super crazy. I often get quesadillas, tortas, and pechuga empanizada. As I said it is good, I would not say it is the closest thing to food from Mexico, but if you want a close by Mexican food, it is not a bad option.

Sometimes you may be unlucky and get a rude person on the phone taking your order, and she often gets your order wrong.

Oh and one of them always charges you more (2 to 3 dollars); so whenever I pick up, I am ready to pay more if she is the one dispatching pickups.

I normally do pickups, I only did delivery once, but figure it is faster for me to go pickup!

Due to COVID only delivery/pickup...
