Tonight I visited the new Chipotle location, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. After waiting in line for over 40 minutes, I was shocked to learn at the counter that they were out of half the meat options and had no plans to restock. This was incredibly disappointing, especially after such a long wait. I suggested they put a sign on the door to inform guests about the limited menu, but the response I received was a dismissive “sorry,” which felt inadequate.
The state of the restaurant was another major issue. I’ve never seen a Chipotle—or any restaurant—this dirty. The griddle was smoking with remnants of old meat, and I even spotted a spatula lying on the floor. It was hard to believe the manager was present, as the place was in such disarray. My 9-year-old son even noticed, asking, “Why is this place so dirty?” His comment summed up the experience perfectly.
When I raised my concerns at the counter, the employee instructed another staff member to wipe down the area around the register. However, it was clear the person tasked with cleaning either hadn’t been trained properly or had never wiped a counter before, as the effort was minimal and ineffective. Overall, this visit was a letdown, and I hope the management addresses these issues—cleanliness, stock management, and customer communication—before I...
Read moreWe went to do an Online order and pick it up at the drive through. We got there and there was 2 cars In front of us we waited about 10 minutes which was fine but then we get to the window and sat for 15 minutes. Btw are food was done at the counter it just had to be handed to us. Once we got are food I asked the lady since she was the window and clearly saw us and number of other employees why it took so long to just hand us food. She then said that she can’t hand me my order even though it was done because once she starts cooking she can’t stop. She then called me an “Asshole” as she walked away, I was going to leave since it was not that big of a deal but after she said I was pissed. I then asked for a manger while the window was opened, she ignored me and walked away. I was going to go inside but my kids were starving and this might be more effective way to get chipotle attention. Food was mediocre barely any meat in my burrito and it was wrapped poorly, my wife bowl and kids were thrown around everything was disjointed, and there was barely any meat in them at all and it was cold since we sat there because once she starts cooking she can’t stop. I like chipotle, but this was terrible. Hope the rest of the Ridgefield restaurants don’t end up like this. Never will be...
Read moreWaiting in line last night for over 40 minutes. No workers told anyone in line they were out of over half of their items and weren't planning on re stocking the line (it was 830pm store closes at 11pm) I understand it's a new location and long waits will be normal and growing pains and training staff etc. What's not okay is to not inform your customers in store that they are waiting a long time for incomplete bowls and paying full price had I known this I would have left. Restaurant was out of 2 meats, veggies, sour cream, lettuce, corn salsa, Pico, mild salsa, guac, and queso. For toppings they only had spicy salsas left. Worker scooped half scoop of chicken and big scoop of beans. No I dont want to just eat beans rice and cheese with 8 little pieces of chicken. I ended up going to fastfood after because no I don't want to have to go to the store to buy items to enjoy my bowl of Chipotle. Never left a store so pissed off but didn't want to be a Karen and complain to the workers who were clearly drowning and frustrated. Management needs...
