Sarge's Boulevard Pizza — Restaurant in Ridgefield

My sister came in with a group of friends, and I was planning to meet them there. While they were trying to look over the menu and figure out what to order — potentially a few pies — an older man working there was extremely rude and impatient with them. They ended up leaving before I even arrived because of how uncomfortable the situation became.

I was raised to respect my elders, so it’s disappointing to hear that someone older would treat customers that way — especially a group simply trying to decide on their order.

Afterward, I looked at the reviews and saw that others had similar experiences, with some even mentioning racism. I had hoped those weren’t true, but knowing my sister and her group — who were diverse — were treated so poorly makes those reviews hit harder.

It’s unfortunate when a place chooses rudeness over hospitality. Safe to say none of us will...

So I’m giving this place 2 stars because all I had was a slice but come on what kind of pizzeria has no display case with a selection of atleast 4 or 5 slices maybe jerseys stuck in the past , if you go to New York where I’m from you can walk into ANY PIZZERIA and they will have at the very least 4-5 different slices a display case of calzones and rolls and all the different pizza but Sarges place if you walk in as a new customer there’s nothing there just a counter and maybe half a pie it’s not the 90s any more get a display case so dissapointed as far as the slice I had ehhh it’s ok I give 5 stars to the lady who was there very friendly and warm she’s a doll .... Depends when you come in and what you get. Usually on less busy days, the food is a 10/10, out really fast, and amazing, but on busier days it can sometimes come out wrong or less and amazing. Certain items are also not that great and can be oily or subpar. I would recommend going during less busy hours for the good experience!
