Tito's Burritos & Wings - Ridgewood — Restaurant in Ridgewood

Okay to start with the service, we had a great server. He answered any questions we had and gave recommendations. He was also patient while we tried to decide that we wanted. Atmosphere was good. The place was smaller than expected, but still great and not crowded. We ate outside since it was a nice day and we had our dog since we were traveling. It was nice sitting there with wonderful food and watching the busy street. We came on a Sunday and parking was difficult so be aware of the street parking. Now the food. It was amazing. We saw a tiktok of this place which triggered us to check it out. My husband got a Fat Amy and it was HUGE. He was only able to eat ⅔ and he can definitely eat. First time he had leftovers in awhile. He rated it 4/5 and definitely would get it again. I got 3 tacos, cause you can mix and match. I chose the Tony Hawk, the Tito Chickito, and the Lowboy. The Tony Hawk 5/5, the Tito Chickito 3/5, and the Lowboy 4/5. I would definitely get the Tony Hawk and Lowboy again. The Chickito was still good, but didnt compare to the other two. Lastly the price. Ordered my food to go, so I don’t have anything to say about the staff or atmosphere, but the wings were horrible. Talk about instant disappointment. First bite on both “flavors” had me disgusted. My stomach turned. Let’s start with the taste, or lack thereof. Wings of Death left me feeling more alive than I was when I bit into this undercooked mess. Gnarly - Q was a total Gnar Kill. Not only did both sauces lack in the flavor department but they were runny / watery. Thicken up the sauce and make it taste good. It was like I had flavored water. Don’t even get me started on the hidden valley ranch posing as a wing ranch. Bleu cheese was decent, I will give them that. I specifically asked for the wings to be crispy, double fried and they either don’t know how to do that or ignored that request altogether. Skin was soft and rubbery and the meat was a little pink when you got to the bone. Why do I have to recook food I ordered to be cooked in the first place? Maybe they should just stick to burritos and gimmicky tacos because wings obviously aren’t their strong suit. This place is supposed to be one of the best in Jersey but it’s one of the worst...

The food is good the price is not. I ordered fish and the shrimp tacos assuming its 2 tacos because it would just be called taco not tacos the picture shows 2 tacos and its asks if I want both hard or soft they sent 1 of each at the price of 5$ per taco? That's way extreme they are sending me extra tacos now but they tried to tell me each taco is 5$ how is that possible. The size of the taco is not even the size of a taco bell taco lol . Honestly save your money and go to chilis or on the border or even taco bell cause the food is decent the price is horrendous the only real good thing there is the burritos they are very well made but tacos dip and everything else dont go there for that ...also for a decent burrito just 1 will run you about 10$. Only reason I give 3 stars is because the manager tried to make up for it.
