The only downside I can mention is the limited parking, but that's pretty much expected in this area. You know how it goes – finding parking and then walking to all your destinations. However, it's a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things.
The coffee shop itself is cozy, offering seating both inside and outside. The decor is simply beautiful, with an entire wall adorned with a stunning painting and little knick-knacks that add a charming touch. They've struck a perfect balance, not overdoing the decorations like some places tend to do.
During my week in Rincon, I noticed they had a decoration that was crafted by one of the artisans I had seen in the Plaza. It's heartwarming to see how they support each other's businesses, adding a unique local touch to the experience.
Now, let's talk about the service – excellent! The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. And oh, the food was delicious! But the real star of the show was the coffee – I absolutely loved it. Trust me, we visited many coffee shops during our stay, but this one stood out, and we knew we had to return before leaving.
Oh, and here's another cool thing about them – they seem to be very earth-conscious. They use biodegradable cups and plates, which is such a thoughtful approach. It's refreshing to see a place that cares about the environment.
When I visit Rincon again in the future, I'll definitely make it a point to stop by this coffee shop once more. It left such a positive impression that it's now a must-visit spot for me. Next time I'll take better photos, hahaha. Forgot to mention, we visited back around March 15, 2023. Highly...
Read moreAmongst the noise, you can easily miss this gem. Through the constant action that surrounds the plaza, you can walk right by this place. And what a shame it would be. Their coffee is phenomenal, whether espresso or drip is your choice you’ll have options. Their menu, is simple yet creative with wonderful options. Oh and their special cream cheese!! I’ll leave that for you to discover. The respect, and hospitality you receive is very akin to what this island is traditionally about. Lastly, their prices are absolutely agreeable. Unlike many venues in the immediate area, your dollar goes a long way with quality, flavor and ambience. Also knowing your money is supporting such wonderful people always matters. Gracias...
Read moreWe visited our friends Franky and Allenny, owners of KaféTerra, in Rincon to support their dream business. What we found exceeded all our expectations and surprised us.
This is not just a coffee shop, this is a place where stories/food/drinks collide to delight your senses.
In Kaféterra you are in for a treat. Prepare to rejoice.
Enjoy a superb cup of local coffee anyway you like it, or just let the Barista Franky surprise you. That is what we did and fell in love with his Pour Over Coffee.
The TerraBoxes (waffles in the picture), soups, sandwiches and smoothies are Chef Allenny's own recipes and specialties. I'm hungry just writing this.
Enjoy the displayed art and ask about it. Grab a book while...
