Taquería Vatos Locos — Restaurant in Rincón

Classic PR SCAM, the menue you look at has much lower prices then the computer charges sometimes more then double what the menue says for prices. Menue says 6$ flavored margaritas...computer charges you 13$ + 1$ for flavor (14$ what do you think this is NYC or las vegas, you locals make $9.50 a hour)!? This actually is illegal and could easily get sued if someone wanted to its called THEFT BY DECEIT. Normal tourist scam, the owner has been asked and informed but they have not fixed the "mistake". You order a drink on menue says 6$ you get charges 14$ on receipt? I'll never go here again and will tell everyone I know to do the same ...just another way to try to scam people classic boriqua low IQ. You don't like how I talk about this then stop doing it....simple fix to a low intelligence problem. The meals also got smaller over the last few months, i would never spend another dollar here. Este no bueno. I WENT AND SPOKE TO THE OWNERS,THEY DIDT OFFER ANY HELP OR REFUND AND WE LOOKED IN THE COMPUTER, THEY ARE FULL AWARE THE ARE SCAMMING...

We drove over an hour to try these tacos, because a friend of mine visiting the island said they were the best tacos he's ever had. So we all hopped in the car and made the journey from Ponce. My mom was like a little kid on a five hour drive, asking every 5 minutes are we there yet? (Not a happy camper) 😂 We arrived just over an hour later and there was a 45 minute wait, she just about had a heart attack (see pic attached). I'll tell you this, even she said it was worth the wait. Now to the food. We had the following tacos: Birria, carnitas, grilled fish, grilled shrimp, ceviche, and carne asada. They were all amazing but my top were Birria and Carne asada tacos! The rice and beans were delicious but my dad didn't really care for them, I did tho. We also had the jalapeño poppers, which were good but super spicy! Still good tho. The best thing we had and my mom happened to order it were the chorizo enchiladas 😋 😍! Soooo good, smoky and very lite, absolutely delicious! Check pics. If you're staying in Rincon I would highly recommend trying...

After eating at Gas Burgers (outstanding), my two friends and I decided to have a beer before heading home. TVL looked like a good option and they had Olympic surfing on, so we sat at the bar.

Unfortunately the bartender was the rudest bartender any of us had interacted with in about 5 years. For example, when I came back from the bathroom, he aggressively confronted me with, "Your friends got beers. Are you gonna have something or what?" Literal quote.

He walked up to my friend about 2 minutes later and grumbled, once again very aggressively, "We're closing in 20 minutes." That's all he says. Nothing else. He was basically telling us from the moment we entered that he did not want us there. It was weird and off putting. And we would never go back to that place again. Which seemingly was exactly what the bartender wanted.

It's strange, because literally everyone we've met in this town is super friendly, except for this guy. Luckily there are other - much friendlier - bars...
