La Marketa Rincón — Restaurant in Rincón

If I could give zero stars, I would. Although aesthetically pleasing with the outdoor seating, windows, and high ceilings, the service and food were terrible. When we arrived no one greeted, so we walked to a server and asked to see a menu but never received one. We then sat down at the bar but no one came over although there were two employees behind the bar and there were no other customers at the bar. We moved to a table, and still did not receive service. Finally we were able to walk up to a server and order wings and the pita pizza. Waited over 40 minutes a pita pizza that seemed to be frozen from a box. The wings were better than the pizza, but were served fried and dry with no sauce. They also were served in a bowl and the server never provided plates, utensils or napkins. I had to go to the bar to get drink napkins to use as plates. The servers never returned to check on us once the food was on the table. On top of that, when leaving I used the bathroom, which was filthy and the sink filled was filled up with water. I would not recommend this place. Management should train the...

I'll be honest to say we were popping in for some quick beer bar quality food. What we got instead was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Perfectly fried, delicious with the freshest most delectable toppings. My wife loved her chicken tacos (not sure why we were both in a chicken mood..thats rare). They have a great beer selection and a pretty eclectic menu.

But it was Felix's service that really stood out. He made the whole experience even better than it already was. What a great server!

Best place for night life in Rincón. There is great live music, cool people and a lot of dancing. The food is excellent and they have a Dinner and Brunch menu. The menu has a lot of options, but the ceviche and mofongo are my favorite! The back room has a pool table, little basketball hoop game, and there is a lot of other fun games throughout the restaurant (i like the shot battle ship game). Walking around the plaza of Rincón you will see other restaurants empty and la Marketa packed and that is for a reason! I definitely recommend coming here if you want to have a fun...
