I ordered on the app and my sandwiches were supposed to be ready at 6:50 p.m. I went into the restaurant at 6:50 and the place looked like it was in chaos. There were four employees working, or should I say running around like chickens with their heads cut off, but in slow motion. The girls working we're doing better than the guys, at least I'll give them that. I waited for a half hour while watching the continuing chaos. Then realizing that my order was very far down the line, I decided to go elsewhere for food. I came back a short time later and another employee had showed up to help. Still no sign of my order though so I decided to go home because I live nearby and come back later to get my order. I showed up around 8:30 to find that they still hadn't started my order. So I had them make one of the sandwiches I had ordered and paid for, mind you, but the other sandwich I didn't need as I had already eaten while waiting earlier. I asked for a refund but they could not give the refund without a manager. I was told a manager would call me in the morning. It's late afternoon, no call from the manager. I tried to call the restaurant, but there's no answer at the number listed. I guess what ticked me off the most was that they continued to make sandwiches for people who just walked in while they were obviously egregiously behind in their online orders. When I walked in the door the employees then all started yelling at me that they're "out of bread" "leave us a Comment online and blame management" and "We're closed." No one called me to tell me my order was canceled, they weren't even polite about it. Then as I was about to leave, one of the employees holds up a loaf of bread (from somewhere) and his female coworker then snaps "We closed!" I was then told that my money was being refunded and to "wait while I get you a receipt" then I'm handed a copy of the sale receipt, showing no evidence of a refund and my bank doesn't reflect this either. I'm definitely not a "Karen" and I hate to complain - but this service at this business was horrendous and frankly just sort of embarrassing. Read moreWas there tonight 11/16 at about 5pm. When I walked in I could hear the employees in the back. I waited a couple of minutes then finally one of the girls basically stuck her head out and apparently said “hot or cold sub” Between the music playing and her barely coming out of the back I couldn’t hear her. She was obviously annoyed with that and just having to be bothered with a customer so I asked her if I was bothering her. Another customer came in right about then and it was obvious she was wondering what was wrong with her. The other employee came out and finished my sandwich without any problem. I know it’s hard to find good workers anymore but customer service is important. I saw a couple of other reviews that were almost word for word the same on this point. It is a bit pricey but the sandwich I had which was the Italian was so good! Almost as good as the deli on Long Island...
