I went to Our Place today after 5pm to check out the new restaurant, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.
First, the menu was nearly identical to when the restaurant was Riley’s, with only a few minor changes. When we walked in, there was a small sign saying to seat yourself—which I didn’t notice right away. Instead of a friendly greeting, the manager yelled across the room that I could sit wherever I wanted, while the waitress stood at the back computer. Not exactly a welcoming start.
When we ordered, everything seemed fine until the food arrived. One entree was correct, but the other was not. For a restaurant that only had about three other tables occupied at the time, this was frustrating. The manager did bring out some fries “on them” while I waited, which I appreciated. However, it took about 10 minutes after my family had already finished their meals before I finally received mine. It looked burnt and was missing the fries I originally ordered.
Meanwhile, another gentleman came in, sat at a table across from us, and waited about 10–15 minutes before anyone even greeted him or brought a menu. Drinks weren’t refilled, and when condiments were finally brought out, they were completely hardened.
Before leaving, a manager came by to ask how everything was. Honestly, I wanted to say “I will never return,” but instead I just said “okay,” paid the bill, and left.
Overall, I do not recommend this place. The food is mediocre, customer service is poor, and professionalism is lacking.

Read moreWe sat on the pub side and were thoroughly neglected the hour and a half we were there. No one waitress was assigned to us. It was a different face each time. Food was good, but took a half hour to get to us. Drinks took forever and no one checked on us when we were ready for refills, which also took forever to get. We ordered an appetizer -chicken egg rolls with ranch. Someone new dropped them off without ranch and sped away before we could ask for it; no one returned to check on us, so we eventually just ate them without. My husband ordered wings and received double by accident. He pointed it out when someone new showed up to check on us a half hour later, and she questioned why we didn’t say something sooner, as if we were trying to get free food lol. Maybe ask how everything is within a reasonable time? She came back and told us she was taking it off the bill, and took the wings away. I guess it was better to throw them in the trash than to give them to us as consolation for our terrible service. Hopefully they weren’t heated up and given to someone else! We will not...
Read moreTook the wife and kids… The front room was packed so we had to sit in the bar area… The front area had plenty of space for more seating but the tables were spread very far apart and limited the front due to that… The portions have changed significantly in a BAD way!!! We ordered Egg rolls and wings for an appetizer… The wings were much smaller than I remember when they were “Riley’s” and the Egg rolls were absolutely pathetic!!! Main course and apps ordered at the same time and took almost an hour for the apps to come out!!! The waitress was pleasant while trying to comfort us due to the lapse in time… Then 3 of the 4 main course meals came out roughly 25 minutes after our appetizers!!! My wife’s sandwich was roughly 15 minutes after the other 3 were on the table!!! Kids began to eat immediately but by the time my wife’s sandwich came out my burger was just about room temperature when consumed due to waiting for her food as well to eat with her!!!
