To whom it may concern: I just had the Worst, I mean the worst customer service ever! By the manager himself Mr. James Timmons. I wanted Popeyes chicken bad enough to drive from Garden City, Ga to Rincon, Ga. It was my 1st and last visit. I went to the drive thru and requested the 9 pc. Chicken for 8.99 promo. I was told that this was not in promotion. I told him it was boldly signed on front of store window and he again told me it was not a active promotion. I then asked for the 3 PC promo in dark meat and told they only had white. I declined. I drive back to front of store to verify promo in bold signing in window and went in to order. A polite young lady asked to take my order and the same guy popped up and again told me there was no promo and it would not be honored, he could not ring in since not loaded in register and yet there was signing proudly displayed in window. I asked the young man to come outside and see what he was promoting which is what I told him. He still told me he could not and would not honor. I asked to speak with the manager and he made me aware he was the manager and there was nothing he could or would do to take care of me the customer or cover the signed promo. I went back inside and asked for his name and a corporate phone number in which he wrote 1877tellpopeyes. I went to my truck and tried on several attempts the number that is suppose to be 24 hrs a day and needless to say it would not go thru. I left the store a very disgruntle customer who I made him aware I would advertise for his great customer service NOT! I would normally go to the MLK store in Savannah in which I feel welcomed every time and up the team without fail takes care of me the customer and one of the reasons they are there. They have chicken on hand and they make adjustments when they make mistakes. This manager gave me a laundry list of reasons he could not give me 9pcs. Of chicken at 8.99 promo and not 1, not 1 thing he could do on behalf of the advertising posted, company or self. Needless to say I'm a Popeyes chicken fan but never again of the Rincon store. They can thank the manager who could not make a simple managers decision that was in the right of the customer and store signing. I wanted no more or no less than the advertised promo and denied the opportunity to purchase. Thank you again "NOT" to the manager and leadership Mr. Timmons who poorly represented this company. I will never return and will advertise my experience to all who will listen. I tried to get a corporate or district managers number to voice this matter to but needless to say that was not a success and I'm sure it was known when I was presented the number in alphabet at that. Read moreI did a mobile order. Once I got to the restaurant, I went to the parking lot where you can call for your order to be brought to you due to the line being long at 11:45am. I had to call several times for someone to answer the phone which was 11:50am. I was then told it’ll be out to me in a few. Well it’s now 12:36pm abs still no food. I had to get out of my car and knock on the door (no one came they just looked) I then went to the drive thru window while still calling the restaurant for an answer, then finally someone answered and talked to the manager they didn’t know how to handle this situation. When the manager answered I immediately recognized his voice from when I first called. He told me my food was right there and they will bring out to me, well I asked if it was cold abs if so I don’t want it. He explained it’ll be 10 more minutes before getting my food and that they can not issue refunds through app orders. I am beyond mad because this is ridiculous for this long wait for a option that shouldn’t take as long!!! What’s the purpose of having this option if you see cars that came with you after you and way after you to get their order and you’re still waiting for yours?!! I showed the code on my phone and the cashier said I had to down load the app. I said ok fine. So the manager comes and asks what the issue is I said I am downloading the app to show her the same code I just showed her. Then the owner comes to the window being rude saying what’s your problem? I said I don’t have a problem I am doing what she asked me to do. He said well u need to get out of line and do it.
