The Rusty Pig BBQ — Restaurant in Rincon

I order online here pretty regular. And I'm a creature of habit so I don't often waiver from my usual order. But the reason for my rating has nothing to do with the food which is always on point. But instead with the staff, I came through the drive thru and picked up my online order and leave thinking..."man I wish the other restaurants in town could be half as professional as the rusty pig staff!" Until I get home and realize one of my items are missing. No big deal, I'll just call and they'll rectify the issue. I call and speak with a young lady who seemed to be lost completely on what to do with the situation. Stating "If you don't come BACK up here to pick it up idk how to help you" (which I wasn't going back because everyone knows 21 is a parking lot @ 5pm) so I requested a refund instead and to speak with the manager. "She's busy serving other customers, call back in an hour and ask for Sarah" was the young lady's response. No problem.... So I did. In fact I called a couple times before someone actually answered. Sarah finally answered the phone already audibly in a distasteful mood. I proceeded to repeat my issue to her, to which she said "do you want to come back up here and pick it up?" No I replied. (with a snotty attitude) she replied " then I can't help you" I then told her to refund my money. She said "hang on, let me pull it up" long pause...... Sarah answers again "your money will be refunded to your account in 5 days" I say "Thank you" then Sarah proceeds to slam the phone in my face lol.

We LOVED going here as we live not even 5 minutes away. Sadly today was a poor experience all around and we won't be coming back anymore due to this Poor manager. The first picture shows the time we placed an order and the second when we received the refund as we never received my burger but my husband's meal came out. I decided to wait and not say anything in case they are busy. Finally when I realized customers kept receiving food and leaving that's when I decided to go say something. Still being polite ,I kindly asked for my refund. The young cashier said she needed to get the manager as they are the only ones who can give out the refunds. Not sure who the Manager was but she had brown hair and was rude and her words were to us, "Burgers take 15 minutes to cook". We looked at her in disbelief as we placed our order at 5:07 pm and my husband's meal came at 5:25pm but Mine never came. Still being kind I was waiting till 5:48 pm . So please ,how do you have a nasty attitude with us when we didn't raise commotion or anything when I didn't receive my meal ( to which we should have given you the attitude not the other way around.) I never had this problem at any place before. How can a manager make customer feel like we are nobody due to their mistake? Thank you for showing me that just because you are a manager and older ,you have no clue what Kindness means or what it takes to be a great manager. Sad,how people forget to be kind to others these days. Thank you for the past great experiences but we won't be coming back...

My wife and I walked into the Rusty Pig in Rincon Georgia. We both ordered the same thing, barbecue plate with two sides. There were three young ladies at the counter there was one table being served in the restaurant. We waited about 15 minutes for the orders to come from the kitchen. When the order finally come out only one dinner. The young lady had failed to order the second dinner. We then ordered the second dinner again the same as the first. We drove home and expected to enjoy a good barbecue dinner. The barbecue was so cold that the fat in the barbecue stuck to your tongue and roof of your mouth. They're absolutely was no flavor in the barbecue except for the sauce that you added to it. We both ordered the same size. Brunswick stew and coleslaw were our choices. The Brunswick stew had so much oil on top it looked like they poured oil over top of the Brunswick stew. The sides were very very small about 1/3 cup. One of the coleslaw cups was full to the lid, the other coleslaw was less than halfway full, equal to about one tablespoon. The coleslaw was about the worst I've ever tasted. The Brunswick stew had good taste but very oily. I will never return to the Rusty Pig in Rincon Georgia again. Most of the restaurant employees were just standing around...
