Skyline Luncheonette — Restaurant in Ringwood

I'm genuinely so upset and I never get mad at stuff like this after working in the restaurant business. My boyfriend and I have eaten in before about a month ago. We got pancakes, waffles, Taylor ham and two cups of coffee. It was $25. We ordered again tonight to be picked up. We got two waffles with strawberries and a side of Taylor ham. It was $30!!! And to top it off we received one waffle each for $8 a pop. the last time we ordered the same meal, we received two waffles/pancakes. When I called to make sure we where charged correctly the girl on the phone was very defensive and rude. I normally wouldn't have called but a single waffle for $8! Like c'mon. And to add to it When my boyfriend went in to pick it up, the kid Ringing him up was slurring his words and people where saying "we're smoking back here" from the kitchen. Genuinely disappointed. Waitress put wrong order in they brought eggs over easy . I ordered scrambled eggs. So they took the eggs back, broke the yokes cooked more and tried to serve me same eggs with cold sausage and potatoes. Maybe just a bad day for waitress was very nice . But for the cook to try and serve me the same eggs now over cooked was not good . Well I guess they don’t care . But they lost a customer for being Cheap . I would Not recommend...

Amazing little cafe/diner. It was a pleasant experience all around. I liked seeing that there were people of every age there. Old people at their regular spot, high school kids hanging out, families bringing their kids out after a sports game, couples on dates.
