BEST COFFEE EVER! Castle Coffee in Rio Rancho is an escape for the senses, and my husband and I loved it! Josh and the other baristas are friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about their jobs and about coffee. The food and drinks are incomparable. This morning, my husband ordered a rich, creamy latte, and I savored a chocolatey pour over. We also enjoyed delicious breakfast burritos made with fresh, local ingredients and flavorful red and green chile. We played board games at a cozy table in their spacious seating area, and we noticed couches and even more seating in a separate small room. We’re planning to bring our 3-year old soon, as there were stacks of coloring books and crayons next to the board games. The atmosphere was light, airy, whimsical, and very family-friendly. Felt like a vacation! The only down side: I may never drink “ordinary”...

We shared a donut, too. mmmm! SERVICE- Josh is super at hospitality! We felt welcome and appreciated. You can tell that he loves what he does. ATMOSPHERE- Very cool! I liked that the coffee bar is right in the middle of the shop. We sat at a table for two, but there larger tables, bar seating and a more intimate seating area with a comfy sofa, chair and coffee table. And it has a beautiful coffee plant mural painted...

Alex was so lovely and helpful! I got a lavender latte which was amazing. My son got a matcha latte with peppermint. The green chile morning bun was a perfect potato brioche that was easy to pull apart. The raspberry biscochito pastry had the perfect balance of each flavor.
The environment is gorgeous, comfy, and spacious. I would definitely come back and spend a few hours working here on my laptop.

While I'm not gluten-free myself, I do often look at how restaurants consider all of their patrons, and they are clearly thinking...
