I visited the UPS store to have a company affidavit notarized. This document was required for my New Mexico-based company to provide to our customer, the State of Florida. However, Mr. McInturff acted unprofessionally and outside the typical scope of a notary’s responsibilities:
Unauthorized Document Alterations – He read through the document (beyond what was necessary to verify its contents for notarization) and then proceeded to cross out wording and add additional text without my consent. Refusal to Notarize Due to "State of Florida" – He initially refused to notarize the affidavit because it referred to "State of Florida," which was critical to the document. Conditional Notarization & Withholding of My Document – When I attempted to reinstate the correct wording, he refused to return my document unless I left it altered per his changes. Notaries are responsible for witnessing and verifying signatures—not for editing or censoring legal documents. His actions were inappropriate, unprofessional, and a direct overreach of notary duties.
I kindly request UPS to review this matter and take appropriate action. Notarization is a crucial service, and customers should feel confident that their documents will be handled correctly and...
Read moreThis has been the worst experience with UPS that I’ve ever had. Not only did they lose my package, but they also delivered it to the wrong address. I’ve tried reaching out multiple times, only to be met with an unhelpful and dismissive customer service representative who couldn’t care less about resolving the issue. It's too bad I didn't get his name to report him to customer relations also but his supervisor knows who he is.
When I finally spoke to a supervisor Sean McInturdd to escalate the situation, he was incredibly rude and condescending. Instead of offering assistance, he acted like my concerns were a nuisance. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this company.
After all this, I still don’t have my package and no clear answers. I’m beyond frustrated and will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. UPS has completely failed in terms of reliability, service, and professionalism. Absolutely unacceptable.
If you ever have a complaint you can email customerrelations@upsstore.com and if your issues are not resolved you can also report...
Read moreDon’t wait in line until you read this
I have been here multiple times and it has not varied. The only UPS store I have ever been to that requires an ID to ship a package. ID on an app (even if it’s a valid state site)is not valid enough so all us modern and progressive people know this practice is obsolete. Passport is a no go. TWIC card…. they knew nothing about. It’s annoying and aggravating especially if you wait in line. There is no sign I could find that explains this to the customer so YOU MUST wait in line to find out. I guess the saying “F around and find out” applies to this UPS, however, the F stands for frustrated for standing in line only to find out, they can’t help you.
The customer service is a hit or miss. Choose wisely or you may F around and find out. I think there is a bet between some of the employees (depending on the day you go) as to who can upset a customer the best. The reviews below are accurate. I have seen those experiences go down.
They have not lost a package (knock on wood) yet. But if anything else goes down, an update...
