A few days ago, I used the drive thru to order a Veggie Mexican Pizza. When I got home and had taken a few bites, I realized it was a regular Mexican Pizza, with meat in it. I called the store to let them know and asked for a refund. Nathan, one of the managers was very nice and told me that since I couldn’t come back in that night, he would write my name in the book. Tonight, I was close by and decided to go and get my refund of $6. I pull up to the drive thru window and asked, very nicely, to speak to one of the managers.
A lady came to the window and told me that I could not have a refund as refunds are only given the same day the “incident” occurs but that she could remake it. I think this to be strange but say okay and ask for the general managers name so I can take it up with them. I did not want a remake as I’d already eaten dinner. On my way home, I realized I had forgotten to ask her name. I called the store to ask for her name and when I did, she replied in a very snarky tone, “Why do you want my name??” Taken aback, I replied, “Just so that I can reference our conversation when I speak to the GM.” She tells me that’s she’s already told the GM. I tell her that I’d still like her name. She tells me that her name is Makayla and hangs up on me- I called back, the phone rings and rings. I immediately flip a u-turn to head to back. What the heck -why- why are you hanging up on me and refusing to answer when I call back? I call a third time, she answers and without saying a word immediately hangs up on me..
Upon my arrival, I go into the lobby because I’m now livid, and ask to speak with Makayla. The staff looks perplexed but goes and tells her that I’m there to speak with her. About 5 minutes later, another staff member asks if I’ve been helped. I tell her that I need to speak with her manager Makayla. She gives me an odd look and says that her managers name is not Makayla but instead her name is MELISSA- wow- so not only did she hang up on me but she LIED to me before hanging up. Mind you, I was nothing but polite and kind to her prior to this. How preposterous is it to LIE to a customer about your name?! About 11 mins after my initial arrival into the store, she comes out. I greeted her as Makayla and followed with, “Or is it Melissa?!” Asked why she lied to me, hung up on me, wouldn’t answer the 2nd time I called and then answered and hung up the 3rd time I called- denials, shrugging of the shoulders, extremely rude and aloof. She finally says that she can give me my refund……WHY DID IT TAKE ALLLL OF THIS TO GET MY SIX DOLLARS BACK. Make it make sense.
Trey, general manager, franchise owner- seriously consider hiring someone else to do the managing of your store. Not only is the gross negligence and mistreatment of customers appalling but it sets a tone for all of the employees she manages, that they can lie, mistreat and be just weird to customers in general. Please hold Makayla aka Melissa...
Read moreI am exceptionally disappointed by this establishment. I never visit taco bell but seeing as the family member wanted some taco bell i decided to give them a chance. I went through the drive through and ordered several hard tacos and several soft "beef" burritos. the person on thr mike misheard me twice and thought I said bean so I corrected them twice. I got home to see that even after making sure to tell her it was beef that they went ahead and gave me bean burritos. I don't know why they would think i wanted bean burritos seeing as they are very bland and don't have any flavor whatsoever and i could make it at home easily since im Mexican. wanting to correct this and give them a chance I gave a call before I headed over as to not bombard them with when i got there because it was a huge order. to my surprise, I said, "Hi I was there and got some burritos-," and the manager that answered cut me off saying that he didn't have time to deal with customer complaints, this and that, and hung up on me. customer service is an essential part in the food industry. i don't even go for the food, just for the chance to do something other than quarantine and work but this manager has made my experience an awful one. I called back after a while to clear the situation up and the manager decided to argue with me, the customer, about the order that i knew they gave me wrong and he kept saying i didn't know what i was talking about and telling me i was wrong when i had these items sitting in front of me. i wanted a resolution and instead i ended up feeling even worse being called a liar multiple times. he didnt even give me a solution, just argued with me. i get that a lot of people complain and that is probably why he was snappy with me but it doesnt give him a reason to shut down ANY complaints. it was my very first complaint to them and im already being called a liar, it makes me wonder how they treat their other customers when they have something go wrong with the order they paid for. that is my money im exchanging. its like asking for a car battery and getting a wheel without the tire when all i needed was the battery and when i complain they say my car should run without even looking at it. I assume the standard has been dropped very low. Im sorry to say that the bar has gotten so low we cant even play...
Read moreI’ve visited this location around a dozen times in my lifetime. I have never had a positive experience. The service is subpar, and I usually wait in the drive-through for a minimum of 15 minutes. But that I can deal with as long as the food I’m getting is good or at least passable… it is not. I don’t know what corporate law down at Taco Bell headquarters is, but my cheese in any of the various products I purchase at this establishment is always below 50°. I think they pull the cheese directly out of their walk-in freezer and throw it straight into my tacos. Those are relatively minor gripes, but now I shall discuss the crème de la crème; inaccuracy all across the board. Believe me when I say this establishment has NEVER gotten my order correct, ever. These inaccuracies can range from minor (They put tomatoes when I didn’t ask for said ingredient) to major (not a single correct item in the entire order). Now, instead of just complaining, since that hardly does any good… let’s brainstorm some possible solutions; perhaps the speaker system at this establishment is faulty, perhaps the workers don’t get paid enough to care at all, or maybe I get unlucky by cosmic fate each and every time and I am truly the only individual suffering from this debacle. Finally, I can confidently say I will not be returning to this establishment, though I doubt you will miss my business. I am simply doing this for my own good; I cannot take the mental torment of getting yet another crunchwrap supreme in lieu of my soft taco order. After some reconciliation, I believe this may actually be my fault; It seems I have not learned to simply stop going to this establishment, and instead I keep coaxing myself into believing that they will not mess up my...
