Ok, I have used this Subway for the last year and it was quite decent. I donāt know what happened but ever since the lady, Lauren I think it is, and Ryan have gotten worse and worse with their service. Yesterday I went in to pick up my mobile order and it wasnāt even started and I was, literally, 10 mins late to get it. My time was crucial because I was trying to pack my wife a sandwich for work before she left within the hour. Came back another 15 mins later and still no service. My order was being ignored to only service the line. What is the point of placing a mobile order to save me the time and make it a possible lunch stop?! I give up and leave to help my wife out the door for work. I return another half hour later and the lady shows me my order is readyā¦. I was dumbfounded. I promptly let her know I would just like a refund! She tells me she canāt do it and I would have to speak to the manager. Then, proceeds to not help me with any contact information and tells me to come back in then morning. So, I give up and come back this morning only for her to tell me the manager isnāt in and she has no idea when he will be. Great, thanks for helping me. I leave and decide to come back in the afternoon at 4:30pm. I walk in to see that Ryan is there and I ask him to speak with Sam. He informs me Sam isnāt in today. I ask when I could catch him and he says, āI donāt know.ā So, Sam (the manager), if you read this I sure would like my money back and donāt worry I will never walk into that trashy location and crap service ever again. From using the phone and ignoring there customers to becoming belligerent when asked why they were on the phone, to throwing our food at my girlfriend, which by the way struck her in the face. All we wanted was to order some food, gladly PAY for our food and go about our way. We were regular customers of this Subway and did our part to support them during this pandemic. And this was the thanks we received. So my advice to you if your ever passing through River Oaks and feel like having a Subway sandwich is to keep driving. Ā Ā Ā Read moreAt about 5: 30 on Thursday July 21st I just went in and I was so happy to see that there were new Subway sandwiches to try and I got my turkey Cali 6 in and went to pay and didn't realize that a 6-in combo had jumped to $12 of course and I didn't have enough to tip and I mentioned it and the man who checked me out seemed apparently a little bit feral to service because he said it figures when I couldn't tip him
I did go right home and get $6 and go back up there and throw it on the table out of general principal
But I have literally never in my life heard anyone actually mention to a customer something derogatory about their tipping ability especially in a fast food store
