Yummy Yummy Donuts — Restaurant in River Oaks

This Donut Shop is by far the best around. The Donuts are always great of course, and they always make more than enough so that if you come in later in the morning and closer to noon they will still have a good variety. But far beyond that is the service. Sunny runs the place along with her son. They are both the standard for good service at restaurants of this kind. They just could not be better. I've been taking my son there for several years, and she has always greeted him with a big smile and a hug, and immediately taking him away from me and doing her thing. She grabs a small bag and let's him pick his favorites. Once she even put a glove on him and let him grab his own. He absolutely loves her. She really understands kids and interacts with them well. Anyone that will go that far to make my kid feel loved literally every time he's gone in there, will have my business forever. And she has already won that! I’ve been to so many donut shops before but this one always gets me coming back!! The gentleman is always in a good mood, always friendly, always makes my day! Seriously, today I was having a very bad morning and almost forgot to get some breakfast. So I stopped by because I know this place somehow always makes my day a little better and the gentleman gave me more than what I ordered 🙌 He turned my day completely around just as I expected! I am so lucky to have found a place where I am treated as a family member, not just another customer or anything else. There’s 2-3 other donut shops near me but I will always make that little extra drive to come to this place because besides the great and amazing customer service, the food ALWAYS hits...

First, the product. It's excellent. The dough is excellent, so the foundation for a variety of great donuts is there. You won't find better donuts anywhere. Particularly notable are their turnovers, their apple fritters, and their cinnamon twists. But I have never had anything from them that was less than excellent. Even their plain glazed and donut holes are superb. Next, the proprietors. You also will not find better customer service. They take the time to get to know their customers and seem to really enjoy what they do so well. Win-win. I am proud to bring their product to church or anywhere else, and share with others.
