Lesly's Grill — Restaurant in Riverdale Park

I was pleasantly surprised at the terrific food here. I had chicken taquitos, my friend had fajitas; ya, we are super-gringo like you truly would not believe in a million years!

While the decor is unremarkable-- almost unseeable in the dimly-lit room-- the meal stood out as the best, most-authentic in ages. It put me in mind of Mount Pleasant (before it got real bad, then got real nice!) and the high-quality home cooking there used to be.

They wete out of this, they didn't have that, it was the middle of the afternoon so we absolutely understood, all minor inconveniences of no note, because: the food.

Crunch, zippy sauce, savory spices, a gentle heat, it was all great. Highly recommended, give it a try.

So before you go in there you need to understand that you're probably not the target audience. There's many restaurants like this one in the DC area and they're basically aimed towards Hispanic men. The girls usually dress in very provocative clothing and they're very flirty because they're hoping to get you to buy a lot of drinks, and since the drinks are WAY overpriced it means they're going to make a lot of money. Expect the food to be terrible because no one really goes there for the food. And the loud music? That's also very common because no one goes there expecting to have an interesting conversation. So when you see all the bad reviews now you know why. Now if you are a glutton for punishment...knock...

Is kind of odd for some the girl the attend me actually leave me alone and ask me polite if I was ok My tip was for my privacy , who doesn’t love some attention but some times (me no thank you just want to drink ) Music way too loud for the size of the space Is very convenient no far from home open area “safe zone “ security in and out Musics too loud But is a good place 4 stars because the music is not good it push me to billar area but I will be on the way of the people playing Go and try it you self I never ask the name of the girl with glasses with orange dress on Saturday 6 October...
